Pentagon spokesman Lt. Col. Les Melnyk said the Defense Department is looking into the matter and expects to provide more information later Wednesday.
“We need to determine if it’s something we’re currently doing,” Melnyk said. “A lot of the information in this exam is intended for people stationed abroad. We counsel those people to avoid demonstrations.” That is a plausible explanation if true. |

The Pentagon is guilty of Fascism. They admit to it by saying protesters are now considered "Terrorists" and Constitutional Rights no longer apply. This is a death sentence under Federal Law for who ever approved of Treason against our Republic by labeling American protesters as Terrorists. It's a DEATH punishment. The Pentagon does not think any of you are smart enough to take them to court to stop the Fascism and the bring our Constitution back with it's protections over Americans. And they are right. You sir don't know what the Pentagon has been planning and doing.
Just a few years ago the Pentagon was briefing everyone the biggest threat to America was....YOU. They were spouting off the militia's are evil and armed citizens in America needed to be hunted down. "There are more militias in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania than anywhere's else on Earth". The target remains...YOU. Don't trust what comes from the Pentagon when Democrats are in control. IT is not some big protect America super place. It's a political entity like all others controlled by the political party in power. |

If it dates to prior 1/20/2009...wellllllllllllllllllllllll.... The question sucks out of context: the protests (according to the article) they are referring to are foreign protests. Regardless...as the poet says, "Treason is just a matter of dates." |

So in the grand scale of things and at the far end of the bell curve, one could define a protest as low-level (very low level) terrorism. Some members need to start shaving with Occam's Razor more often. If you find yourself agreeing with the ACLU, maybe you need to re-think. The reality is that you are probably right. The reality is also that this is an open door to the next step of quashing dissent in any form by labeling it terrrorism. After all, if the Pentagon/military machine labels it as such.... It's really not that much of a stretch. |

In all fairness, the story doesn't specify how long the offending question has been on the exam, but it's interesting to note that the same liberals who attacked the patriotism and integrity of the Tea Party protestors are suddenly outraged that their own actions have been called into question. The most notable quote of the story:
“That’s illegal,” said George Martin, national co-chairman of United for Peace and Justice. “Protest in terms of legal dissent has to be recognized, especially by the authorities. "It’s not terrorism or a lack of patriotism. We care enough to be active in our government.” He apparently forgot to say "......except if you're a Republican". All hail Obama. It's kinda like Obama's Inauguration speech where he kept talking about America helping those in other countries who couldn't help themselves, but he kept forgetting to say, "except in Iraq". |
