Your brain is a chemical machine, and chemistry is simply applied quantum mechanics. Now, you can feel free to argue over whether consciousness emerges solely from the complexity of all those interconnected neurons or there is some external soul involved, but you can't have that discussion without considering the chemistry, which is an inherently quantum phenomenon. |

Generally, we can determine how "real" our perception is by seeing if others pereive reality the same way. hence the problem––that which we call reality is determined by vote. knowledge (traditionally construed) is a social construction. Absolutely agree. It's why objectivism is nonsense. No such thing as "objective reality" because reality is mediated through perception. Having said that, some things can be taken as objective facts, for all practical purposes. |
