Kathy Griffin held up an effigies of Trump's severed head. Don't recall an FBI investigation into that.

Without their cell phones, how were the most serious threats to our democracy since the Civil War supposed to be notified by their glowie handlers of where to meet up?

No patches, no ID, no nothing. View Quote They've actually got some good info out there, open source, about what to carry, what not to carry, tactics, etc. but fortunately most of them are just useful idiots, pawns who seem to be about retard level and/or just don't care about things like getting arrested. I know Erin has published some stuff on it as have some others who've evaluated their gear lists and tactics and it's very obvious that it wasn't just something some bored college kids put together. Same thing with their big protests; it's not just a random group of lefties- there are the useful idiots, the ones they want you to see who look like a soup sandwich, the ones they want you to see who are put together and then the ones who aren't on scene but can act like a QRF that you most likely won't see. |

Let's assume that you are one of the rare people who never owned a cell phone or used one.
You want to go do something that you want to keep secret from everyone else. You can't go farther than about half a tank of gas in your car. If you refill there will be a record of it. You can't go in any store. There will be cameras. You can't go on any street where a outside security camera might catch you going by. And, so forth. Your life is a matter of record, in detail, and on sale for anyone who wants to pay to get it. Get used to it. |

I could devise a robot finger to swipe through pages too. Problem is there is more than just your phone that knows where you are. |

I use Signal exclusively these days.
And I delete my messages older than 31 days. Droid phones can be "flashed" with non-G OS and different apps. Buts its not convenient or practical for many. Every single app you install tracks you. Just how it works these days... Get a burner flip phone and use it when away from hime and shut it off 10+miles from home. |

Really strapping on the tinfoil, I've always figured that the phone could listen and record anything within range of its microphone then send that recording after it was removed from the Faraday container and/or turned back on. Someone would have to be specifically targeting you or it could just be similar to the way the old carnivore program was triggered by certain words and feeding algorithms (which I'm sure are far more complex and efficient these days). Ted went about things the wrong way, but he wasn't wrong about some things. ![]() |

Yeah I know that happens, I've witnessed it firsthand, I'm just talking about how putting the thing in a Faraday bag possibly/probably isn't enough if it's within earshot (the microphone is still going to be able to pick up sounds unless you disconnect it like you said). Just because it can't receive or transmit while in the bag doesn't mean it wouldn't still pick up sounds (conversations), record them and then relay them when it gets a signal. ![]() |

Quoted: How does a phone track you when it's unable to communicate with cell towers or GPS when inside a metal pouch? View Quote Your phone has a accelerometer in it. The second your phone connects to a network it knows exactly where it is. They can tell if you're driving vs walking and can make a pretty good guess on how you got from point to point. Sure your faraday pouch may stop it from transmitting in real time but as soon as you take it out of the pouch, they've got you. ![]() Google is Tracking You! Quoted: How does a phone track you when it's unable to communicate with cell towers or GPS when inside a metal pouch? View Quote You know how the health app tells you how many steps you’ve taken today? Yeah, the accelerometer still works in the faraday bag and can report back the path you took. That’s how. |

Ok, let's say you left your phone at home, streaming ladyboy porn or whatever you're into and went to the January 6 protest. If you don't live in DC, you had to travel there by plane or car. If your car has a GPS, it tracked you the whole way. If you rented one, it definitely tracked you the whole way. If you flew in the plane, your information was on file with the airline. If you used Uber to get to the rally, you were tracked there.
If you removed every little thing from your person that runs on electronics and walked there, then you were in the background of a thousand pictures, taken on phones that were tracked, and by the thousands of cameras mounted in the area, or brought to the area for the event. The only way to escape this is to relinquish any technology newer than about 2002, live off the grid and never leave your property. In which case, they can still find out where you are, because your name is on the land deed and sooner or later you're going to have to go to town for some 50lb bags of sugar and some copper line. |

Yeah, the accelerometer still works in the faraday bag and can report back the path you took. According to my phone, I walk anywhere from 8000 to 18000 steps a day, all while driving a truck. I wouldn't count too heavily on the accuracy of the data or collects. ETA: My phone suddenly doesn't like the editor. It keeps adding things to my replies. |
