Meh, they wouldn't be that big after you shave all the hair off of them...........

Gotta be AI, because I had it on good info from Greta that the polar bears were all gonna be dead by now because global warming melted every ounce of ice in the world

Thought they were all starving or dying because of climate change. This must be one of those AI images.
Side note- bafffin boots are awesome for keeping your paws warm. Shit beat by a few seconds lol |

I'd hate to have to use those to rub one off. Then again, maybe they're very soft.

I was at the NC Zoo once with my kids way back when. At the polar bear enclosure, there was a glassed wall water hole. The bears get in and you see them face to face through the wall. The one big male had his paw against the glass. Freakin thing was bigger then my head.

We should send a polar bear whisperer up there to live with them and make friends and see what happens
|

All other bears are omnivores, except this one. The polar bear only eats meat. If it comes after you it can outrun and out swim you.

I went through Anchorage on my way to Korea back in the early '80s. There was a stuffed one in the airport. Unbelievably huge.

If you made it to the Elmendorf Base Hospital you got to see the giant Alaskan King Crab they had mounted on the wall in the lobby. |

That thing could easily kill any animal on the planet. There's no point in arguing because you know I'm right.

View Quote No kidding, and I have zero idea how they managed it, but one of the H-Mart's around here had a LIVE King Crab sitting in a tank. All to itself, and taking up the whole damn thing, as you'd expect. The tank was at the back of the seafood prep area but it definitely did not look small. Olivey-brown color. Had to be for some special order for a party or something. As far as polar bears, I'd love to do the tundra bus thing in Churchill one of these days, when the bears are still shaking off torpor and waiting for the ice to set. The stories you all tell me about what a clever PITA they can be on the rigs or @VNE 's bush flying caution about not crashing near their dens in the North Slope of the Brooks, lest you get dragged off by Mama for predation practice, are amazing. Beautiful animals. From a distance. |

I've seen a polar bar on the tundra just laying there. A small herd of caribou walked by him not more than ten feet away, he didn't move.
If it had been a seal it would have been very different, funny how that works. |
