I always hated how the old white ones looked. I was up visiting family the first time I saw one of the new ones and was pleasantly surprised how good it looked. I could see them being hard to spot in traffic, but police interceptors tend to be easy to spot from a distance if you know what to look for anyway.

My humble offering for the thread. I've got to say, I've always been a fan of the current KSP cars

KSP is easy to see for me, one lives in the next apartment building over.

WVSP had a female trooper, 1000% smoke show.

Used to drive big trucks for an Indiana trooper, more than a few times we'd jump in the CV and go down to the Freightliner stealership for parts. Rather gutless car.

Texas DPS is a no fuck around bunch regarding trucks.

Many of those troopers in NJ/Northeast look like either Nazi SS or they're about to go ride Seabuiscut with those riding britches and boots.

New Mexico looks like the SS Troops, or actually the SS Troops look like the NMSP. Their uniforms were designed before the SS uniforms.

This isn't a regular issue uniform. The whole bottom half is mounted/horse specific.

They even have their own color blue.

The distinctive blue paint color used on Michigan State Police vehicles is one of the few law enforcement vehicle special order (VSO) colors that manufacturers add to their color palette specifically for an agency. Per Michigan State Police specifications, the color is the "same as Dulux 93-032" (and which may be identified by other color designations or codes depending on whether Ford, GM, or Chrysler produced the vehicle to which the paint is applied). MSP is fairly unique in its use of both the blue paint of the patrol cars and the red hue of the rotating overhead light as basic livery; the department has used the blue paint scheme and the current door decals since 1954.

They use that on their helis too, pretty sharp.  I swear I've seen an armored vehicle in that livery too...

South Carolina has a lot of scumbag troopers that hide in unmarked cars.  Which is entrapment.  So it could be any random truck or SUV or sedan of whatever make they feel like just to bait people into speeding.  SC is very strong on generating revenue off it's motorists.

IMO, GSP Chargers are the best-looking patrol cars, but FHP Challengers look good. The Chargers and Tahoes, not so much.

My current favorite is my patrol car, because you don't know it's a patrol car until it lights up.

Ironically, dealing with a NJ State Trooper is usually better than dealing with a local cop.  The trooper is more likely to let you go with just a warning.

As far as "cruisers" in WA, the sneaky buggers will roll with anything unmarked they can appropriate through asset forfeiture.

That minty Bullitt Mustang? Could be WSP. Just add hidden lights.

And the bow ties are a nice touch to go with the Smoky Bear hats.

We also have our share of unmarked and ghost vehicles.

A few years ago they tried out several different paintjobs to replace the old white w/ a blue stripe (You can see one of the older Explorers in the photo above).  The one I liked the most is the one below.  We are the Copper State after all.
