Since I turned 16 in 1980, I have to say pussy was my favorite toy back then followed by my 69 Camaro and HS football.

you guys seem to be forgetting about MASK toys.  They were pretty cool.

Of all those toys I used to play with, I would have to say I got the most entertainment out of legos.

A new bag of army men

ETA: Looked at the date (Early 80's).  I was pretty much into squirrel hunting, rabbit hunting and the fairer sex by that time

Well played, young padawan.

Me?
Gi Joe
He-Man
Colt Gold Cup
S&W Model 29
Henry Golden Boy
Pistol Crossbow

My teen years were filled with carving trails through our acreage in the mountains with a machete, shooting, boxing, football, basketball and martial arts. Still played GI Joes and the like with my younger brothers, though.

Yep!
Talked my younger brother into raiding his piggybank, riding our bikes about 4 miles, and accross a major interstate to buy some fireworks once.
We would have TOTALLY gotten away with it, but being the little pussy he is, he "felt bad" and confessed it all

I got a spanking, I had to repay the little bastard for the money HE WILLFULLY SPENT, and the fireworks got destroyed

He came out of it smelling like f'n roses!
Isn't that some shit?!

I was in my 20s in the 80s, so pussy, hunting, pussy, and my hot rod (69 Chevelle) were my playtoys.

HOWEVER.......I'm old enough to have had the ORIGINAL G.I. Joes-and I had a SHITLOAD of them. My two favorites were the deep sea diving sled and the Mercury capsule.

The Big Trak tank.  Loved it.  I used to program it to go into my sisters room, blast her with the laser photon gun, do a doughnut and return to me.  Good times.

The MASK gas station.  The boulder on top came off and there was a machine gun that popped up.  The tops of the pumps tilted back to turn into machine guns. the garage opened and was again full of guns and it seems like the front of the store flipped down.

If you were a child of the 80's post some of your favorite toys. I'll start with a couple of the most memorable for me.

M.U.S.C.L.E. Men.  I had tons of these guys. They sold them in tubes anywhere you could buy toys. They were cheap and fun to collect all the different designs. Warning: DO NOT do a google image search for "muscle men"

Castle Grayskull, another favorite:
