While there deployed on

As an instructor on shore duty -again small

For a while The Boys from Vincenza Italy were designated that until they grew into a brigade.

2000-present. The 81st Separate Armor Brigade (or soon to be a heavy Unit of Action) Washington National Guard. "Washington Rifles"

2000-(Sep)2005 The 898th Engineer batallion (combat engineers, not construction or whatever) No longer existss, The two companies in WA became part of other batallions, some combined arms batallions. "First into battle" maybe Sappers first, coulda been the previous bc though.

Current unit. The 1/161 Infantry. Tired of being a pogue, and wanted to be infantry again. "First in War, First in Peace"

1995-2000First Guard Unit 29th ID (L), MD ARNG.  "The Blue and the Grey" "29 Let's Go!"

1/115th INF "Rally 'Round the Flag"

1993-1995
Active division.  The 101st ABN Div. (AASLT) Screaming Eagles. Rendevous with Destiny.

Old patch of the 187th Infantry Regiment when it was a separate Regimental Combat Team.

The full unit crest (the things we wear on our uniforms aren't actually crests, just insignia, a stripped down crest).  Was in first ("Leader") battalion. "ne desit virtus" (let valor not fail) "Rakassans Lead the Way!"
