He is the only one in that family that is worth a damn...

The Duke of Edinburgh (his Grandfather) served with distinction in WW2 and was mentioned in dispatches.

Prince Andrew (his uncle) flew a chopper in the Falklands War.

His Great, Great, Uncle Lord Mountbatten, was the brains behind "Operation Chariot" the raid on St Nazaire

His Grandmother is the greatest British Monarch and is now fast approaching being the longest serving to boot. At 86 she still serves the country on a daily basis. In WW2 she served in the Women's Auxiliary Territorial Service:

After 9/11, with airports closed and American Tourists stood outside Buckingham Palace feeling lost, alone and a very long way from home, she did this:

It was the only time in history that another countries national anthem has been played at Buckingham Palace without the head of that country being present.

It's a shame you don't show her the same respect.

If there is a better person in the UK then I have yet to hear of them, she has devoted her entire life to the country and done a damn fine job of it. She's worth a thousand of the entire contents of the houses of parliment.

(P.S. I was at Harry's graduation ball from Sandhurst - my best friend was in his intake - and he's a very down to earth cool guy)

Maybe you're thinking of the Duke of Edinburgh, who had a career in the Royal Navy before George VI died (he served in WWII, as well).

Andy was a helo pilot in the Falklands war.  I've read mixed reviews of his performance.  I wasn't there, so I can't venture a personal opinion.

The Queen has more class in her royal hangnail than the current first family could ever hope to amass in a lifetime.

Prince Harry - partying like a rock star in Vegas on vacation, and killing Taliban with an Apache helo for a living.  The Dos Equis guy doesn't always dream of being someone else, but when he does, he dreams of being Prince Harry.

I think he is thinking of Charles.  He was CO of a minesweeper iirc

Mountbatten was an amazing man and his murder was a terrible loss.  At least in the UK the aristocracy takes it's responsibilities seriously.  The self styled "liberal elite" here in the US are generally fucking cowards by comparison.

Twas a brillig day when young Prince Harry
rode forth on his rotor-winged Angel of Death;
He sought his foe on the field of battle,
Lo, there he awaits the doom unseen;
The designator, invisible to human eye
Marks the intended for Hellfire to come;
The missile is launched by Harry's finger
Death from afar by a touch;
The triumphant Prince slew his foe
Imparting the deadliest cut;
Prince Harry carried on the proud English way
Of kicking some major Talibutt

Not an epic, but I never claimed to be a poet.

Prince Andrew flew missions during the Falklands that involved hovering his helicopter near the ships as a means of decoying Exocet missiles, IIRC.
