Well, I for one hope this is just a ruse she has planned carefully to get Harry to her bedside ...so she can punch him in the face.
But if not, I hope her family can give her comfort after giving her so much pain in recent years. She deserves at least that much after a life of service in a gig she never wanted. |

Apparently the family will take motorcade instead of helicopter. So an additional hour of travel after they land. (speculation by BBC based on weather not being good)

Can't stand the royal family in general (see Harry and the pig he married for example), but I've always admired the Queen for some reason. I'm sure she has passed or is about to quickly. I'd imagine they would let the family gather before making that announcement or removing life support.

I believe that the UK is our greatest ally and I have served with the British Army on deployment and call several good friends. I introduced one to his now wife. That said, why are you "very proud to have lived all my life under her reign"? What were her accomplishments beyond pomp and circumstance? That she did not have any personal scandal beyond her husband who would not honor his vows? There certainly was no executive leadership, that attribute is really the only possible reason for a monarchy and was removed by your political system. Is is a longing for the Age of Empire? I do not mourn her death but I will not cheer it on as I respect our allies. |
