I have an assortment of tumblers, but these are my favorite. Cheap, simple--not fancy, right size for me.

I also have several nice Glencairn glasses.I'm not crazy about the style, not even for single malt Scotches.

I have some of these too, they were a gift with my unit's logo etched on it. They're nice and hefty.

Low Ball crystal is the correct answer

We have a bunch of Anchor Hocking 8.5 oz low ball glasses like in my picture, which I find too big.  Also some 12oz like in my picture which I find way too big.  I would swear we used to have some of the same pattern low ball that were like 10 oz, and some even bigger high ball like 16 oz.  The only reason I want to find those wherever they are is because in the same box I think there were a couple of maybe 6;ounce ish marching juice glasses that might be perfect.

Leave it to arfcom, even the type of glass you use can make you gay.

Some of you guys have such fragile sexuality, I'm not sure how you can get through your day without being forced to jerk some dude off because you made the wrong fashion or glassware choice.

So that's why that happened? I swear I'll never mix whiskey and Coke in a Whataburger cup again.

I use this 10oz tumbler:

www.amazon.com/dp/B071F7S7HYAnd these ice balls:

www.amazon.com/dp/B007ACTN54ETA: I usually drink mid-shelf bourbon, so drinking it neat isn't so important.

If you want to get fancy get one of these.   The spheres turn out super clear.

Ozark stainless steel with 6 second pour of CC and a can of diet 7-up with ice = guzzable whiskey replacement for beer which has too many carbs

A Glencairn is the only way you should be drinking neat whiskey.

No kids, no Lego

The glasses were my Christmas gift last year from the awesome Mrs Ohio_Bill

Round, flat bottom, straight wall Libbey's "rocks" glass.   Cheap, thin, light.  Perfect balance.  I wish they had a BFL sandblasted on them. The ones sold here are just too steep.

I like a heavy bottom, adds thermal mass and prevents spills

i'll be honest here, i've been relegated to using a plastic measuring cup by a gracious hostess at one affair (that was a WAHTF event, at PCR-00's front driveway)

on a different occasion i was told to remain seated for the remainder of the evening, given a guard, and was only allowed to use a child's sippy-cup (at a regimental ball)

both judgments were ruled for breaking glassware
