I've never tried ordering beer online. But where can I find some of this beer? I'm thinking it would be a good Christmas present for my brother who wants to try it after watching some show on Netflix.

Not sure how to mail order it. It's just kind of generic mass market lager, although better than the Bud/Miller/Coors unholy trinity imo. |

Lol, bout the only time I drink rainier is when I'm out fishing and don't care if several rogue cans end up rolling around in the sun, no big loss. Send me a pm and I'll mail ya some if you must have it.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rainier_Brewing_Company#In_popular_culture In the A&E 2012 television series Longmire, the series' main character Sheriff Walt Longmire exclusively drinks Rainier beer, and can be seen drinking it throughout the series. In the pilot episode, a colleague accuses Longmire of drunk driving after empty beer cans are found in his car; Longmire explains the presence of the empty beer cans by saying "Every man who's ever had a beer with me will tell you the same thing - I drink Rainier, always have, always will. Those beer cans, they weren't Rainier, none of them. I picked 'em up because I hate looking at litter. Everyone knows that, too." Longmire pronounces the beer's name "ran-YEAH" in an approximation of a French pronunciation, which may be inaccurately seen as a mistake. Many Washington natives do favor this pronunciation, however, either in jest or as an affectionate nickname. In the final episode of season 1, "Unfinished Business," Denver detective Fails (portrayed by Charles S. Dutton) uses the "ray-NEAR" pronunciation commonly associated with the beer's namesake mountain. |

Don't think it's the same formula it used to be back in the good old days.

Only drank that if it was the only thing at the party.... cheap kegs back in the day. Only thing cheaper was Heidelberg or brew 66.

Bevmo has the ale but not the lager.
Do ya'll have Trader Joe's or other large national good beer selection grocers? They can probably order some for you. |

Okay, if you guys are going to be mailing beer around the country, I'd like to put my order in for some Montana exclusive, Cold Smoke and Double Haul IPA. I wish you could buy that online.

Don't waste your time with the beer. It's like X-Men powers in a 40 oz bottle. Drink one or two quickly and you can fall down multiple flights of stairs without suffering any injury. Ask me how I know |

"Raainnneeeerrrr, beeerrrrr"
It was our go to cheap beer along with Olympia back in the day (1980's). I thought R and O were bought up by the CoorsMillerPabstWhatever industrial beerplex. |

View Quote I used to drink a lot of Blitz back in the day. Then Olympia bought up Weinhards brewing and completely ruined Henry Weinhard's. I think someone bought it from them and put out a new version of Henry's which is pretty good. I think Olympia did get bought up by the big brewers and it then sucked even worse. |

I remember Olympia sold a shit load of beer after Clint was drinking it in Thunderbolt and Lightfoot |

I'm happy that the "R" has replaced the "T". Things just never felt the same during that dark era

If We could find somebody to buy it for us. Anybody remember Great Falls Select? $5.50 per 24. At least We rarely lowered Ourselves to the Hamm's level! The Ol' Crew Chief |

If you are a fan of Rainier, you need to try Olympia. I keep both stocked.

I'll be schlepping a couple cans up Mount Rainier in July to drink on the summit.
Seems a fitting thing to do. (Don't worry, they'll be packed out.) |

I don't think I've ever had a Rainier and I've been up here off and on for six years now.
I usually go for Henry Weinhard's for cheap beer. |

Sheriff Walt Longmire of Absaroka County WY approves of this thread.
