Shit choices because it all depends what kind of environment you'll be wearing it in (LOL almost said "operating in"...).
But Coyote Brown will blend into a woodland environment better than green in a desert setting. But, then again, Ranger Green is more slimming... |

Even though I live somewhere really green, coyote brown seems to work better overall. View Quote This is what it looks like in the spring and fall. In the summer the leaves are so thick you could almost hide in blaze orange. Attached File |

What color is the mountain lion?" asked Pooh.
"It's coyote brown. " squeeked Piglet. "My favorite color." said Pooh. |

Both work pretty well in my area, so my gear is mostly coyote brown while my wife's is ranger green. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v509/topgunpilot20/warbelt_FDE_02_zpswqilntvb.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v509/topgunpilot20/warbelt_OD_01_zps4nvbktml.jpg View Quote |

Ranger Green. It's green around here most of the year and I love green on guns anyway.

Illinois here both seem to work here..... I actually mix my RG and CB gear seems to break up patterns View Quote I voted ranger green although coyote would work as well and better in the winter sans snow. What coyote brown resembles is the color of deer so I avoid it as I don’t want to look like a deer in deer season. Too many stupid bastards in the woods then. |

Meh, most of the animals wear brown and disappear in the woods quite well... Most of my stuff is FDE/coyote brown if its not a normal camo pattern...Wouldnt mind the green though either..Either will work fine out there in the woods if you need too hide it by breaking up the patter/shape with natural vegetation in the area added to the object...

Coyote Brown would do better in AR except for maybe 1-2 months. Sad but true.

I like coyote brown the best and it works great for my area here in the blistering heat of AZ.

Brown is more versatile here in middle TN.
Deer are brown and disappear |

I'm still a huge fan of OD, I wish it were as popular as it once was.

Coyote, since nothing is green here in the winter and even in the summer most open ground will be brown. Grey works shockingly well in the woods here. Tree trunks and rocks don't change with the seasons. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Q4iuvsqsQHI/TR-K05xRQ_I/AAAAAAAADCY/-P9Q3mdT-7Y/s1600/DSCF2721%2B%2528Large%2529.JPG View Quote |

Well, there you have it: a definitive answer. View Quote I prefer coyote. I've got ATACS-AU, ATACS-FG, Multicam, and desert tan clothing, and CB goes with all of it. Here in Saudi, you don't really need camo. Plain coyote tan or khaki works just fine. ETA: CB also works back home in the Philippines with the FG. It's the same color as most dried SE Asian mud. It would be REALLY close to the mud in my old stomping grounds in Cambodia. And there was always plenty of it. |

I can confirm that flecktarn works really well in PA. View Quote As far as solid colors go, South African nutria brown is cool, kind of like a darker Coyote. I've got an SADF bush hat like Brent's wearing in this vid that I like a lot. SADF Nutria Brown Camouflage Effectiveness |

Swamp-ass gator back Green or sugar sand white works best here.

Coyote as a general rule. There is brown everywhere.
What is the difference between "Ranger green" and "olive drab"? |

Not sure who made that map but it's wrong. Marpat doesn't work out in the desert of eastern WA, OR or southern Idaho, multicam works better out here. http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh29/HawkCreek_photos/Bushcraft%20and%20other%20Outings/BCUSA%20MEST%20GSR%20Tara_zpsaxc0px3m.jpg View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I tried to vote, but there was no option for OG.
If I had to choose between the two, I'd go with RG. |

Well if you are referring to stains on your undies I would go with coyote brown.
