At this point I assume they will, and it is mostly a question of whether the DNC successfully hangs this one on Trump for withdrawing from JCPOA in 2018, or Biden get to own it in the public eye.
I'm curious if they test one (India, Pakistan, North Korea), or just subtly let people know about it like the Israelis did. |

I could see a scenario where Iran tests the waters by dropping a nuke on someone. I think this is Iran's short list for nuclear bombs recipients:
1. Israel - while there would be widespread outward condemnation - even in the ME, most Arabs hate the Jews so, secretly, they'd thank Iran, privately. If enough of Israel is left, they'll retaliate with everything and wipe Iran off the map. That starts WW3. 2. The US fleet in the area - since pedo Joe took the helm, every bad-boy country has been flexing and pretty much ignoring our weak, incompetent, dementia-ridden administration. Joe would not retaliate with our nukes so as to not risk escalation and loss of the presidential campaign. He'd declare a week of mourning, covene a special council to figure out why Iran hates so much, then give them money. 3. India - they're not of the faith, so they're infidels worthy of death. Besides, I don't see too many countries getting into an uproar over 200k Indian deaths. 4. Iraq - pay back for the Iran-Iraq war and a bonus of killing lots of American still there. See #2 for the American reaction. I think Israel is going to have to mount one of its superb, fully deniable, secret strikes into Iran and take out whatever facilities the Iranians have to build the bombs. |

 Iran has recently seen one of its neighbors to the west invaded and the government toppled. Iran has recently seen one of its neighbors to the east invaded and the government toppled. If you were an Iranian leader wouldn't you want nuclear weapons to prevent such a scenario happening to your country? I'd be surprised if they don't have at least radioactive "dirty bombs". |
