Fucking oxygen thieves!
I make oxygen. My property is covered in mature trees, plants grasses etc. I actually remove carbon from the air & sequester it in tree trunks. So what does the local government want me to do? They want me to rip it all out. They want to "Save Water!" Perhaps we can make oxygen theft a crime. Imagine Texas after dark... . |

What would the average air temp need to be in order to heat the oceans up by 42+ degrees?
I'd have to think we'd all be dead from the entire planet turning into a giant desert before that could ever happen. |

He said a 6 degree Celsius warming. There are 1.8 degrees Fahrenheit in 1 degree Celsius. Therefore, 6 degrees Celsius of warming is 10.8 degrees Fahrenheit. The idiot author of the study thinks if the ocean warms 11 degrees we'll have problems. He's wrong and an idiot, but don't criticize him while being wrong and an idiot.

What stupidity. The notion that there would be no warning is wrong. I believe that satellites monitor water temps so you would have plenty of warning IF the assertion that the phytoplankton really do stop producing oxygen at a certain temperature.
