NY Governor Pataki(R) ran as pro gun,then once elected,pushed for and signed the state AWB.

And what happened?He was of course reelected.This has played out many times,including recently in Florida.

IF,IF we had held them accountable and voted them out of office at merely suggesting gun control,they would fear us.Instead,we are like the Blacks to the democrats-pay some lip service KNOWING the rubes will still pull that lever no matter what.

It sucks he went that way but I can understand, he was the Mayor of Dayton after all. He is the one that revived the city and got it headed in the right direction again. The corrupt turds that followed have not been able to kill it yet. He is probably pretty emotional right now.

The biggest regret of my entire life was not recording Mike Turner when we were having a conversation in private and he said that he was a die-hard conservative, but that he would say or do anything to be elected because of the life style it afforded him. This was at a country club in Columbus at a pro-gun event with John Boehner back probably around 2005 or 2006. What absolutely kills me was I THOUGHT I was recording it, because I had recorded the event audio, but the fucking thing wasn't recording when I ran out to my car to check.

Mike Turner is a weasel of the highest order.

Mike Turner is the slipperiest of snakes. He's an amazing fake conservative.

Occasionally he'll shed his skin and you'll see him for what he is (like the Patriot Act shit.)

Normally, if you were to splice his voting record on even given subject you'd think "Oh wow, this guy is the real deal conservative."

But once ol' Mike feels comfortable or thinks he can get away with something? Bam.

Now we'll see if we get a good challenger, because this gun shit might spur some to action to vote his ass out. It won't be easy, he's very swamp entrenched.
