AFAIK, my only Russian junk is:

I have a RadiaCode 101 scintillation detector (think of it as a super-charged geiger counter for measuring radiation counts, rates and dosages and plotting gamma ray spectra).

So that when the nukes start getting all 'splody and stuff, I can haz mega-atomic-ticking sounds to put me to sleep...

I have this thing, but I don't know what it does. I don't read Russian. It makes my eyes feel funny when I stare into it though.

1911 and AKs are probably the coolest interesting and arguably the funnest to shoot but they are outdated.

The difference is Russia is still using outdated junk

Vostok watch, AFG Panama hat with small sickle pin and some other hat with a big hammer/sickle.

Dad brought over some religious icons and a bunch of other junk traded for Marlboro cigs. Russian/Ukrainian, they're all corrupt as shit.

Almost bought a UaZ 469 for $13k.

I traded for this uniform shortly after the Berlin Wall came down.  We did a big airshow in Lawica, Poland.

My F-15 was parked next to a Russian SU-27 and our crews were having a great time at the after-show party.....right up until the Russians decided to have a coup against Gorbachev and the whole party got shut down.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1991_Soviet_coup_d'%C3%A9tat_attempt

In typical USAF aircraft maintenance fashion--bold enough to make our Irish ancestors proud--most of us managed to sneak off post and hitch rides into town to continue our drunken debauchery.

It turned out to be a lot easier to get out than it was to get back in.......we had hitched a ride on a potato truck--made sure that the 80 year old farmer never had an empty glass, and he was happy to hang out and give us a lift back.  Rickety old farm flatbed, loaded down with about 50 shitfaced drunk military of several nationalities (US, UK, Hungarians, Polish, Czech Aussies and Germans).  When we pulled up to the gate, the guard didn't know what to do, and we had to wait for the Polish military liason to show up and let us back in.

Picked this up at a gun show in the early 90's. Has decent glass, I still use it.

Still have two black rabbit(?) Ushanka hats I bought off the street in Moscow. Like wearing a microwave oven on your head.

Sort of mid 90s. People had tables set up selling everything they had. Full uniforms, medals, daggers....our intourist guide warned us customs was cracking down hard on trying to take "heritage" stuff out of the country, and we passed on some very cool swag.

Found out later those "guides" all worked for the intelligence services.

My father went to Arkangel multiple times when he was alive.  He passed in 2013.  This is from one of his trips.  We drank the vodka immediately.  On one of those trips he took Marlboros as potential trade for tips.  Several of his cartons disappeared thru customs.

He always talked about how it was colder than ass over there.

I always chuckle when I see him.
