Maybe they are not running low on creativity, but are doing this as a "F U" to the US Citizenry. Like, they won't even try to come up with a plausible cover story for their lawfare. They'll keep rehashing the piss dossier until they are at Russiagate 12: The Twitter Putin Russia Connection. They don't care if people believe it, because nobody will stop them. This could be a warning from them, that retribution is coming against Elon for buying a government honeypot/bot farm and turning it into a free speech platform
