A "classic" rifle gets reproduced but in a "tacticool" format that nobody wants, it fails in the marketplace, owners find a way (at great cost) to mod the rifle into what they wanted it to be, and the manufacturer discontinues the base rifle as a money-loser. If they would just make the rifle the way nearly all of their customer base wants it, they'd sell great. But they "kNoW bEtTeR". That said this year's PTR-63 looks a lot better than last year's. While I think it's silly/dumb, I can live with the AR-pattern grip, but please fix that stock/trigger housing interface and preferably lose the dumb AR trigger guard. I have a '33 handguard laying around I can slap on it. |

I watch all the forums and people with money want original, tacticool is ok but let them butcher up original clones if they want. I want original with the ability to swap in original parts if I want. |

but the kahr htat takes sig 365 or hellcat mags is kinda nea tand the lil 22lr cricket mil surp clones are pretty neat. and the square barrel rock. if it materializes seems interesting |

Instant recognition of the range/photo background by yours truly as associated with “the 75th” checks out. PS to ScrolledandTabbed; if you ever saw one in the pile where the stock/receiver area looked as if it was ground down by a drunk with a bench grinder, I can tell you the story third hand.
