Horrible name, but looks like an MCX copy and Beretta has way better QC than Sig. https://www.berettadefense.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/NARP_Side-Right_white-1.png But with how the ARX 100 went they probably won't even release it to civilians. 10 days to go. |

I think 870s make a lot of sense, but I could also see them building Ruger pattern .22 pistols. 10/22 makes sense on the popularity front, I just can't imagine there's any margin to be had in the platform. PSA can be profitable in the 10/22 space for the same reason they’re profitable in the AR and Glock pattern pistol spaces: vertical integration. They make a lot of their parts in house and/or they own some of their own suppliers, and they sell directly to consumers. Meanwhile, most other factory guns have parts sold to the manufacturer at a profit, and then complete guns being sold by manufacturers, distributors, and retailers all taking a margin. 10/22 makes a lot of sense because they can sell everything separately, in kits, or as complete guns just like ARs and Daggers. You could see guns with PSA, Ruger, Volquartsen, and TacSol parts all in one gun. Turkish shotguns are not competitive because they’re trash. People will pay more for American and for stuff that works. The Maverick 88 might be competition, but it’s a cheap product that’s short on features, and some people just don’t like Mossberg. They could make a line of P320 stuff, but the FCU is still patented. |

Remember last year, after eight years in development hell for their StG 44 clone, PSA bought Hill & Mac Gunworks and, at SHOT Show 2023, promised it would definitely be released in 2023? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

I"m hyped about the ACAL and excited to see Beretta's NARP (sounds like that guy from the movie "Hot Fuzz").
The ACAL is a God send if it does everything advertised for the predicted price point. Long, and I mean long have the civilian night vision goon bros waited for something like the ACAL to hit the market. If it is $1,500 I'll probably end up owning two of them eventually. |
