Watching CBS morning news this morning and they were talking to some Dem rep or senator I’m not familiar with about an impeachment vote and I was shocked to hear him admit they were afraid to vote because it would open up the Republicans ability to do discovery and cross examine witnesses. They are scared!!!

I don't know the super nerdy technical details but many forums use the same "architecture" or "forum engine". You can see this across many popular forums with main differences being theme colors, branding/logos, etc. 8ch breads can be "containerized" and imported/exported to other forums bearing roughly the same architecture. Another example... Change the theme colors at 4ch and it becomes very similar to 8ch. Endchan would not = 8ch/8kun due to the points made in #1. Edit: Another example.... When Coke was rebranded to New Coke. Same employees, same manufacturing facilities, same employees, same management, etc. Although Pepsi shared the same form factor and the liquid product could easily be exchanged between a Coke and Pepsi can, they are distinct "platforms". View Quote If Ar15.com Decided to change its name because A.R. 15's became illegal, but everything else about the site was the same I would view that is the same platform especially if it was an otherwise uninterrupted name change and all of my bookmarks redirected to the new name. I would expect the IP address to remain the same but I don't know this for certain. Is the trip code program used by 8Chan a unique program to their system? Meaning same password entered on 8 chan would not generate the same trip code on 4Chan? Am I correct about that? I've never posted on any of the chans and don't intend to start, but had I used a trip code, I could go to the newly named platform and enter the same password to see if it matched. Therefore I won't have the luxury of verifying for myself if the person posting as Q is using the same password or not by testing my own password. Thanks |

View Quote 1. If the old 8ch board was hosted on VM (virtual machine) architecture, there would be ways of snapshotting, preserving, migrating, etc. You'd need to make changes to IP settings, DNS and such but it could be done. 2. App server and database backups/restores. If 8ch hosting was run on physical hardware, there still would be ways of restoring the board (along with it's config, settings and data) to a new host. If there was an encryption layer laid down on bare metal, it could prove problematic depending on a number of factors. Worst case scenario (IMHO) is they bring up a functional framework along with read-only archived breads and inject two new production-ready "boards" (/QResearch/ and /PatriotsFight/). Q would then have to re-authenticate with Codemonkey/BO (board owner) (I'm betting they had a trust/authentication mechanism in place before 8ch went down) and then Q would have to pull off something like posting a continuation of a set of posted-only-by-Q pics in conjunction with getting POTUS to Tweet something along the lines of "John has a brown mustache". |

The agents called the discovery an “oh sh-t” moment as they combed through Weiner’s iPhone, iPad and laptop after it was revealed he had been sending inappropriate messages to a minor, journalist James B. So is 8kun the grown up version of 8chan? How to Use "San," "Kun" and "Chan" Correctly When Speaking Japanese Kun Less polite than "~ san", "~ kun (~?)" is used to address men who are younger or the same age as the speaker. A male might address female inferiors by "~ kun," usually in schools or companies. It can be attached to both surnames and given names. Additionally, "~kun" isn't used between women or when addressing one's superiors. Chan A very familiar term, "~ chan (~???)" is often attached to children's names when calling them by their given names. It can also be attached to kinship terms in a childish language. |

Now where have we seen that before....? Oh! From a LARP post. People will hear about something that they never knew about, and then assume that the person who told them (in this case Q) has some secret inside information or access, or was the first person to reveal it ... but it’s really just an illustration of how little they knew about the topic in the first place. The whole “OMG, the Marine Corps was just authorized to operate on US soil!” thing from a couple of days ago is a perfect example of this, just like Jade Helm hysteria of the past, and lots of other examples. I also noticed the same dynamic in the threads about how the economy was going to collapse (any day now, probably next Monday ) that went on for about six or seven years following the financial crisis of 2008. People would post all kinds of nonsense they didn’t really understand, and would get all wound up when they discovers some new thing ... which people in the know had already been aware of for years. One great example was “Baltic Dry Index” which is a measure of shipping capacity/utilization. Someone would hear it mentioned on some YouTube video or something, and would immediately start posting about it as if it was some big realization and reveal of some secret insight ... and people who actually have been watching these things for decades would just shake their heads. Isn’t there some expression like “A little knowledge is a dangerous thing?” ... if not, there should be. |

Lots of money for a non-profit organization.
Planned Parenthood launches $45M bid to defeat Trump, flip Senate The organization said the effort aims to "take back the Senate, the White House, state legislatures and defeat harmful ballot measures across the country." Oct. 9 (UPI) -- The political action committee of Planned Parenthood announced Wednesday it will dedicate $45 million for efforts to return control of the Senate to Democrats and vote President Donald Trump out of office next year. The family planning organization said its advocacy and political organizations will use the money to aid campaigns in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin -- which are all states expected to have a critical impact on who is elected to the White House. However, Planned Parenthood said the plan is a 50-state strategy. "Our very rights and freedoms are on the line," Kelley Robinson, executive director of the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, said in a statement. "This election will determine our access to birth control, cancer screenings, sex education, abortion access and more. And we have the power to win." The organization pointed to attacks against abortion rights in several states and the Senate's controversial confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court last year in outlining the plan. A Title X change by Trump administration in August was also cited as a rallying cry for political change in 2020. The rule change banned organizations from providing information on abortion access and forced Planned Parenthood to abandon the program and some federal funding. "The bottom line is this: We are sitting in a moment of great peril, but also of great opportunity," Robinson added. "The only question: What are we willing to do? Well, I know that I'm ready to win." View Quote |
