So did I. And the bird feeder is not in a bird cage, it is a squirrel guard that is part of the feeder. Lot of vivid imaginations up in here.

Lol there is more than enough evidence to put Hilliary in prison for the rest of her life yet nobody has done ANYTHING.  They could introduce a verified video of her killing a kids after bill raped them and nothing would happen.  Sadly Barr is not the savior, he is Sessions version 2.0 with a little more bluster.

The reason they have these phones is because... they GAVE THEM TO MIFSUD for the operation and he gave them back after. It’s more proof Mifsud is a western asset and NOT a Russian spy.

It’s also proof there transcripts of the conversations between him and Pappa D. The phones would have been used to record everything.

A legal Hail Mary. There will be a huge news media blitz in the coming week with already prepared talking points from key Democrats to push for a 2nd special counsel. That will, if permitted, eventually render a legal opinion of high crimes and misdemeanors was committed by President Trump. This is a last ditch re-maneuver to handicap AG Bar and road block going investigations. The Speaker of the House doesn’t have the votes currently for impeachment as she needs more time. This will be what Mueller failed to do. Several high ranking government employees who are sleepers are prepped for activation to undermine the President in a very very very public way.

Feds take down the world's 'largest dark web child porn marketplace'

Federal prosecutors have filed multiple charges against a 23-year-old South Korean man accused of running what they call the world's "largest dark web child porn marketplace."

The now-shuttered English-language site, called "Welcome to Video," contained more than 200,000 unique videos or almost 8 terabytes of data showing sex acts involving children, toddlers and infants, according to the 18-page criminal indictment unsealed here Wednesday, and processed 7,300 Bitcoin transactions worth more than $730,000.

According to prosecutors, the vast online store was run by Jong Woo Son, a South Korean citizen currently serving an 18-month prison sentence in his home country after his conviction on charges related to child pornography. The site operated from June 2015 until it was seized and shut down by U.S. authorities in March 2018.

At a press conference Wednesday morning, U.S. officials said 337 suspected users of the site had been arrested worldwide to date.

Dershowitz Must Face Epstein Accuser's Defamation Lawsuit

October 16, 2019, 10:51 AM CDT

A federal judge in New York ruled that Alan Dershowitz will have to face a defamation suit filed against him by a woman who claims she was forced to have sex with the Harvard law professor while she was an underage victim of Jeffrey Epstein.

Virginia Giuffre claims she was forced to have sex with friends and acquaintances of Epstein from 2000 to 2002. Dershowitz denies the allegations and has publicly called Giuffre a liar on multiple occasions, leading her to sue him for defamation.

U.S. District Judge Loretta Preska on Wednesday allowed Giuffre's case to go forward, but she disqualified David Boies and his law firm, Boies Schiller Flexner LLP, from representing her. Preska ruled that Giuffre, who is also suing over Dershowitz's claim that she conspired with her lawyers to accuse him falsely, had turned her lawyers into witnesses, so they can't continue to represent her.

Boies Schiller spokesman Edward Evans didn't immediately return a phone message seeking comment.

In the ruling, Preska didn't consider whether Giuffre's claims are truthful. The judge instead made a preliminary ruling that, if all of Giuffre's claims were true, the law provides her with the right to sue Dershowitz.

Ethics rules bar lawyers from representing a client in a case where the lawyer is likely to be a witness on a significant issue. Because Giuffre's complaint included allegations relating to Dershowitz's allegedly false claims of conspiracy between Giuffre and her Boies Schiller lawyers, the firm is "hoist on its own petard," requiring it to be disqualified, Preska said.

"Giuffre raises the specter of one set of BSF lawyers' examining another set of BSF lawyers, including name partner David Boies," she wrote.

Dershowitz was part of a team of lawyers that negotiated a 2008 plea deal for Epstein over criminal charges in Florida, which required him to serve just 13 months in a Palm Beach, Florida, jail with daily work release.

Alexander Acosta, the U.S. attorney in Miami at the time, resigned as President Donald Trump's labor secretary in July amid controversy over the deal. Epstein hanged himself in his jail cell in August while awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges.

The case is Giuffre v. Dershowitz, 19-cv-3377, U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York (Manhattan).

My question is, who would appoint the special counsel?  Barr would need to recuse himself or appoint himself.

CongressAnon alleges in the chan thread that a lot of effort will be expended to tarnish Barr as irredeemably biased, apparently more than has been done since the original SC wrapped up. It would make sense, too, if they've managed to convince themselves that they can both gin up enough "outrage" through friendly media and that Barr would cooperate with their playbook assumptions. Neither are a given, but then again the anon alleges (and I mean it already feels like) a push for a second SC would be a hail Mary.

We'll see, I guess.

Here's a less dramatic version.

Report Causes Concern and Confusion in California’s Amateur Radio Ranks

By all credible and reliable accounts, the State of California has not turned its back on Amateur Radio as an emergency communication resource nor have established repeater owners been asked to remove their equipment from state-owned sites unless they pay sizeable fees. The California controversy, inflamed by a viral YouTube video, stemmed from a California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) communication telling a repeater owner or group that Amateur Radio equipment would have to be removed from a state-owned site or “vault” if the owner(s) determined the cost was too great to proceed with a formal application to keep it there.
More at the link.

In addition to the GD thread, there's a thread in ARF's ham forum.

I suspect that actually a rhetorical question anyway, but:
1. The irrational left generally has the attention span of a gnat. That is why we are always stuck being so reactionary. Rarely is anything actually solved before they move onto something everything else.

2. More importantly, they keep losing to POTUS in the courts ultimately. Plus, POTUS keeps finding a way to go around them, slowly but surely. As things have improved on the border a little bit, they certainly don't want to have to address their part in the increase or our success in the decrease (w/ real help from AMLO in Mexico that they NEVER expected) .

Guess what? The feds are after Rudy over Ukraine! You can’t make this shit up!

CNN article here

Federal investigation of Rudy Giuliani includes counterintelligence probe
By Evan Perez, Sara Murray and Shimon Prokupecz, CNN
Updated 2:33 PM ET, Wed October 16, 2019

(CNN)For months, investigators looking into Rudy Giuliani's business dealings in Ukraine have dug into everything from possible financial entanglements with alleged corrupt Ukrainian figures to counterintelligence concerns raised by some of those business ties, according to people briefed on the matter.

The counterintelligence part of the investigation indicates that FBI and criminal prosecutors in Manhattan are looking at a broader set of issues related to Giuliani, President Donald Trump's personal attorney, than has been previously reported.

Kenneth McCallion, a New York attorney, says that investigators first approached him earlier this year to ask about Giuliani's ties to Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman, two Giuliani associates indicted last week on campaign-finance related charges.

McCallion says FBI counterintelligence agents in February or March asked questions about some of Giuliani's Ukrainian business dealings.
The counterintelligence probe hinges in part on whether a foreign influence operation was trying to take advantage of Giuliani's business ties in Ukraine and with wealthy foreigners to make inroads with the White House, according to one person briefed on the matter.

"I was just asked whether I or any of my clients knew of any dealings that these two guys had with Giuliani," McCallion said. "They were on the radar with regard to possible counterintelligence issues."
The indictment announced last week centers on ties between the Giuliani associates and foreigners, including a Russian national with whom they did business. The indictment doesn't mention Giuliani.
Giuliani has said he is unaware of any criminal investigation into his business dealings.
McCallion, who first spoke to USA Today, has represented Ukrainian clients, including the former Ukraine Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.

The investigation

Some of the FBI agents and prosecutors handling the case come from the same public corruption unit that targeted Michael Cohen, the President's former personal lawyer, and it's clear the investigation could result in more charges.

The investigators in the Southern District of New York appear to have largely operated separately from what Trump's appointees at the Justice Department headquarters in Washington, DC, have pursued in recent months, and the investigation dates back far longer than what's been previously reported.
Justice Department officials last month said criminal division prosecutors in Washington had examined Trump's July call with the Ukrainian president only for the narrow issue of potential campaign finance violations and determined there was no crime. But the issue was far from closed.

At the same time, federal prosecutors in New York were aggressively pursuing broader issues related to the Ukraine matters.
The first indication of the broader investigation emerged last week when Manhattan-based investigators pursuing the charges brought last week against four Giuliani associates, including Parnas and Fruman, who were indicted on campaign finance-related offenses.

Nicolas Roos, the top prosecutor from Manhattan who worked on Cohen's prosecution for tax evasion and campaign finance violations, took the lead in Virginia federal court last week when Parnas and Fruman made their initial court appearance.

When the Giuliani associates were first charged, the Justice Department's public integrity team based in Washington were consulted about the charges but were not involved further in the case, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Prosecutors are expected to bring additional charges against at least some of the men, people briefed on the matter say. A grand jury has already issued at least one subpoena, to former Texas Republican Rep. Pete Sessions, another indication that further charges could be in the works. Rules that govern grand juries say that prosecutors can't continue to subpoena witnesses to the secret proceedings unless they are pursuing additional targets or charges.

Sessions wrote a letter to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to raise concerns about the then-US ambassador to Ukraine, who was later removed by Trump following complaints by Giuliani and others.

The politically charged investigation is broadly examining the financial sources for the work that brought Giuliani to Ukraine, where he worked with Parnas and Fruman and where he previously lobbied the Ukraine government on behalf of a small town in the eastern part of the country. Parnas and Fruman were involved this year in helping find information that Giuliani sought to show alleged corruption by former Vice President Joe Biden and his family. No allegations against the Bidens have been corroborated.

Giuliani was not discussed in the allegations that Parnas and Fruman faced. Instead, the pair and two others, David Correia and Andrey Kukushkin are alleged to have funneled a Russian businessman's money into US campaigns and of a conspiracy to skirt campaign finance requirements as they pushed Ukrainian political interests in the US. They have not yet entered a plea, are being held in jail until they can each post $1 million bond, and are set to appear in court on Thursday afternoon.

CNN's Kara Scannell and Katelyn Polantz contributed to this report.

New thread posted on 4chan from CongressAnon. This is the person who was posting play by play from inside the closed door hearing of Bruce Ohr back when that happened. Like lots of things on 4chan it's interesting, irritating, and encouraging all in one.

FIRST POST:

If we see something very personal drop re: POTUS followed by D calls for a second Special Council, I'm buying a years worth of Cheetos and moving into my basement. My wife and kids can live off of my 401k while I'm digging with frens.
