I didn't watch the whole thing, but I think 3 officers with batons could have made for a very satisfying conclusion.

Clearly, all we need are less than lethal wonder stuff to protect us and not icky firearms.

Do we as law abiding citizens DESERVE to have these dangerous assholes living on our streets and interfering with our lives and businesses?

There aren't enough beds in the mental hospitals for them. Where are you going to house them

I would think a K-9 or two would have ended it far quicker.

It's about to come to a head here.  Supposedly not enough room in state facilities, so they've been holding them in private hospitals.  Fed judge says nope.

BTW those guys in the picture are NYC Transit cops. They were merged into NYPD in 1995.  The radios rarely if ever worked in the subway. Those guys would bang their night sticks on the platform, echoing down to the next station to get help.

Growing up in Houston in the 70’s they were housed in a work camp on Makawa road. We called it the P Farm. Derelicts, drug addicts, and drunks.

The truly mentally ill were in one of the several county hospitals.

There were no homeless assholes roaming the streets and living under overpasses.
