I’ve always had both dogs/cats at the same time. At least I’m my experience, they have complimented each other beautifully. Like you, I’ve had dogs that were perhaps overly reliant on peoples/ other dogs company. Having the cats around was a very calming and reassuring presence for them. I never really got the impression that they made a clear distinction between another dog or a cat outside of rough play. My best guess is that the mere fact that they were never actually alone was enough to make things right for them. As mentioned previously, unlike their human counterparts, I think in this case the dogs got it correct.They didn’t seem to care who or what sat beside them, just that another living being was sharing their space. |

Loki plain and simple is a baby still and a lover. I still have Lacey a 11 yo Yellow Lab. Loki's first year here he played to rough with her. He dislocated her hip and tore her ACL. She just tolerates him now. A very expensive year for me ETA Duke117 thank you for the king words |

I hope this works out for Loki. Whomever gets Loki is getting the most loving, most loyal big baby ever. There is great debate over Loki's age in the Dag household Lol. Joker1 told us he was 18 months old I think when we picked him up. The girlfriend says Joker1 said he was 8 months old. With that said Loki is either 38 months old of 48 months old. Regardless of his age he is still and always will be a puppy at heart . Thank everyone that has tried to help Loki find a better home. Dag |

Loki would be a good companion for our Misty but we have no fence only a cable run/trolley, we also have two indoor cats. What sort of play is Loki into? Misty likes to chase/be chased and isn’t really into wrestling too much, she likes tug of war a lot though. Attached File Attached File |

Will put you second on the list. He is an extremely athletic dog and needs to be able to run. I expect Loki would adjust to Misty's level of play. However not sure a cable run would allow him enough freedom to get the exercise he needs. Will let Jordan make that call. She is the placement maven. |

Last night I let the better half read this thread. She was floored, amazed, and became very very emotional and she began to cry. I quote " OMG I had no idea of what Arfcom really was. The amount of support for Loki and you ( me ) Loki is going to go to a great home" That is the best I can remember what she said. She thought Arfcom was a bunch of right wing racist Trump loving basement dwelling mouth breathing leg humping crackers. Thank you all Everyone for your Support 8 |
