NOW calls for Goodell's head.

I sort of want this but it seems to be on a downtrend.   People want and need the circus that is the NFL.

The head of NOW wants him out?  Then I say he should stay.

People are so stupid.  It's the NFL's business to run how they choose.  If the women are upset, they should stop watching football games, or STFU.

he should be sentenced like similar people who play the knockout game.

http://www.wlky.com/news/ohio-teen-sentenced-to-4-years-for-knockout-game/27969634

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/05/02/knockout-game-killer-gets-life-sentence-for-st-louis-attack/

Point is, he should be treated like any other person. He doesn't get special privileges because he is a football player.

Being a NFL player is not a job in my book nor is any entertainer.  Time to go be a doctor or plumber or something.  If he doesn't have some of his millions saved to get him by then tough shit.

NFL gets former FBI Director Robert Mueller to investigate.

YES. He needs to be spanked in every way possible. As a player on a contract, he is an ASSET to his team. His actions reflect on his team and all athletes. Someone who gets paid millions to play a game and serves as a role model to others should have the highest standards of conduct both on and off the playing field, to include standards of personal appearance. This extreme culture of entitlement starts in high school when their talent is discovered, and progresses through college (where they are given special considerations) then on to the pros, where the rules that apply to everyone else are applied to them at a lower standard, if at all. Just do a wiki search and look at the numbers of these clowns who have been convicted of some form of jackassery- and not just in football, though they seem to be the worst. These people need to be held accountable ALL the time for their actions. I want to see fines and suspensions for every time they act like an immature idiot, public apologies, etc. Get in a retard bar fight or get a DUI? Get busted with coke or pop hot on a piss test? Beat the crap out of your wife or GF? Hammer time. And don't give me some BS about "pressure". There are teenagers in combat working for peanuts without a pot to piss in with REAL challenges and personal issues, and they are held 100% accountable for their actions. No pity for professional athletes who can't keep it together from me.

I despise MV and find him unlikable as a human being and athlete.

With that stated, he was convicted and served his sentence.

He then was able to try out, and make it back into the NFL.

He will be back before the season is over. A team will be in a tight spot and they will see the opportunity to get a cheap running back.

He's not being stripped of his ability to make a living, anymore than I would be if I fucked up and got my ass fired.

He has a Bachelors degree from Rutgers, which is more than I've got.

Little Ray Ray isn't loosing his ability to make a living, he's just been fired from his current job for being an asshole.

He can still work, maybe as a MMA fighter?  He has a pretty good left.

OTOH, he's a walking lawsuit that's never going to get hired anywhere with an HR Dept.

Well his chosen profession is a public sport whose owners have a image to be concerned about. Difficult to market a Rice doll unless the doll is dragging another doll by the hair. Much different from any other profession where your conduct does not reflect on the entire profession. Well except for LEO's.

Also, if it were me I would have gone to jail and been charged with DV and lost my right to own firearms, but not Rice.

Umm, what else, oh right, nice left hook.

Vick got his mojo back. Rice probably will, too.

Americans love a comeback.

My thoughts are that Goodell is a control freak and now way did he not want to see that video
