I like Trump
I voted for him twice If he's the nominee I'll vote for him again But I think he's going to jail. The Democrats are far too organized on this and have the entire media cheerleading them on. Honestly I think our 2A rights will be gone by ~2030ish. It makes me angry that Republicans really don't fight back in the political sphere. Democrats have been framing issues and conversations for the last 20+ years and Republicans "compromise" by giving 100% ground to Democrats. It's annoying. That's what is eating at America. However he is good for the economy, and he raked NATO nations like Germany over the coals for NOT meeting the target of 2% of a member's GDP being spent on defense, and threatened to pull the US out of NATO, that the US shouldn't pay for Europe's defense when it clearly has the economic and industrial might to defend itself. What happened later? Russia invaded Ukraine, and Finland and Sweden applied for membership, and NATO member states suddenly increased their defense spending. Trump also called it on COVID calling it a Chinese Virus that was leaked from a Lab. He initiated a travel ban from China and was immediately labeled "racist and xenophobic" by the left...a campaign in Italy was launched to hug Chinese Tourists and Covid spread like wildfire causing many Italian's to die. The left did a U-Turn and went utterly silent on the travel bans as they were no longer considered "racist and xenophobic". With Trump in office we got some pretty decent judges on SCOTUS and in the Appeals Courts (especially the 9th). (a possible exception may be Kavanaugh who is a bit of a RINO). Trump didn't have enough time to transform the courts as he could have done with 8 years in office but he got us down that road pretty good. If Trump makes it through the indictments - I will be voting for him. Simply on 2nd Amendment grounds and the Economy. |

It makes me laugh when I think about all the people who cried Trump should get out of DeSantis's way.
They claimed that Trump was unelectable. Yet they were worried Trump could beat DeSantis in the primaries, but DeSantis could win the general election. Um, because Trump is UNELECTABLE! LOL

80+ million voters say Trump will crush the D nominee, the only thing that can keep him out of office is the dems cheating the vote. Trump is the only one willing to openly challenge the voting machine and that's why he's the target of intense Lawfare. |

You anti-Trumps need to rub a few brain-cells together in order to understand that Trump used the bump-stock issue after the Vegas shooting to set-up the potential for a series of federal court challenges to gun-laws and over-reaching ATF regulations down the road. Here's my argument:
- Bump-stocks are not something vitally important to our cause, so there's only a minor risk to our rights by using bump-stocks as bait to gamble with in federal courts. - Trump essentially beat the left at their own game before they could push another AWB through congress, placating the "do-something" crowd and the media on the Vegas shooting. If you truly want to confuse and cock-block your enemy, do something essentially harmless to your own cause that the left will be forced to support. - He threw the bump-stocks under the bus because that would have the least impact on practical firearm ownership and use, compared to the havoc another AWB would cause. Better to risk bump-stocks being tied-up for years in federal courts than semi-autos/ARs. - By using an executive-order to the ATF to implement it, he sets up the legal challenge against any future non-legislative, capricious bans by federal agencies and executive orders. - By equating a bump-stock with an automatic-weapon, he sets up a future challenge against ATF parts regulations. If SCOTUS rejects the bump-stock ban, this sets up the argument that individual parts such as sears/trigger-packs, stamped-metal cards, etc. also cannot be treated by themselves as automatic weapons. I can also see how an argument against constructive-intent regulations could be implemented. - By equating an accessory to an actual complete firearm, he sets up a future challenge against suppressors being treated essentially the same as firearms under the NFA. This man plays chess, not checkers...he's also probably our last true hope for someone truly independent of the deep-state/party-line system. If you won't support Trump, you're only supporting the Democratic/deep-state nominee. |
