This is my new-in-wrap Sony Walkman WM-F2031. I purchased the same Walkman in 1990 for $65.99 from an electronics store and got a few years of play out of it before I misplaced it. It was an upper-tier Walkman for its time with a PLL synthesized tuner. Found this same factory sealed model 31 years later on eBay. I have several vintage Walkmans, from the TPS-L2 to the WM-30, but this was my daily player.

That's awesome.
Only things I think I specifically went back and bought were some ek bowie knives that I'd been lusting for since I saw them at gun shows but was too young and poor to afford them. |

Feels bad that 1990 is retro, but that is pretty cool.
When I got my wisdom teeth pulled (only had upper two), my dentist office gave me a walkman while he was doing his thing. I was stoned on gas and jamming out to the latest Styx album. 83/84 time frame. |

I got a new pocket fisherman off Ebay last year for Christmas.
First time out, caught a 19 in bass. |

I've got a PAQ-4 that's probably that old. It mounts in the carry handle and it's big.

I have a Radio Shack Armatron in the box. Not quite new but in excellent working order. From the Walkman age.

I had a Walkman that was hardly bigger than the cassette it played and had Dolby hx pro and was rechargeable…it was incredible to think how they made it…90’s Sony electronics were on point

We still have the Atari 2600 we bought new in the 80's along with a ton of games. Need to dig it out of storage.

I remember being at after work party at a co-workers house when someone put one of those Sony Walkmanz on my head for the first time...was blown away at the sound quality...

I had one of those and loved it, until it got stolen from my locker.

View Quote At this point it’s worth too much to do that. I have 3.2 carrera with 993 brakes and I find myself driving it hard just so I can hammer the brakes because that’s the fun part. |

I swear I had the same Walkman but I was listening to Jodeci and Luke, so something isn't adding up. Maybe the next version or something.
