Quoted: I would not let strangers in my house.. sounds sketchy View Quote Exactly this. I mean really? This ain't the 1950's anymore, and "Mayberry" doesn't exist anymore. Yeah, let some strangers into your fucking house to use the bathroom. Sure. ETA: I saw a sign for a CCW instructor's business here recently, and the name of his business was "Mayberry's Gone." I thought that was cool. |

Quoted: I certainly wouldn't let a stranger come in my house to use the bathroom, but also as the police I also wouldn't be writing a report on this noncriminal event. For as much as this place bags on the cops they sure like to call them and encourage others to do so as well when a black person walks through the neighborhood... View Quote I'm not LE so "took a report" is probably bad wording on my part. The deputy reviewed the videos and radio'd in the 3 girls physical descriptions and their color/type of clothing worn. He told me he and another patrol would be checking the neighborhood to see if they can locate them to make sure they were ok. Deputy took my name, already had my # and left. Not sure if this is a "report"? |

I'm trying figure out what the girl at the bottom of the stairs is showing them on her cellphone at 0:08. Is that a google map view of the property? I can't quite make out what it is.

So twice in the last year we've had a trio of young girls ring our doorbell asking us to use the bathroom. We did the same as you, told them no, and they scampered off giggling. We live in a moderately sized suburb of a metro area so makes no sense.
My wife and I presumed this is some dumb tik Tok trend or something. |
|
Is it possible the girls regularly come to visit Chukar and didn’t expect to find MotherChukar at home? The bathroom story was just thought up on the spot when the wife answered the door. The object in the yard was a McDonalds bag with a pint of vodka, cialis and some other things that go along with the delivery. Well played by the girls. Close call for Chukar.

As someone who’s done a lot of long distance running, miles from home when the coffee kicks in I can understand. However asking to use a random strangers bathroom would never be an option, would sooner piss my pants. Plenty of construction sites around with port-a-potties.
Maybe this is a new tik tok challenge…take a selfie in some stranger’s bathroom. |

Quoted: My girls would never knock on some random folks door and ask if they can go in to pee. No girls who have been raised right would. IMO the pee dance was fake. Something was off. I'd never let random kids into my house in today's world. Not a chance. Good call OP. View Quote This 100%. Any good parent would not be pleased knowing their teenage girls are knocking on random doors asking to use a washroom. It's just stupid and could be dangerous for them. In hindsight I wish I had asked if they live nearby and why don't they just go home. Before answering the door I did look to see who was there and assumed they were probably selling fundraiser stuff for school. This has happened before. But the girl asked to use the washroom. This threw me, and is not right. |

WTF are you answering the door in broad daylight? This is GD. You never answer the fucking door.

Good thing you didn't shoot her. Like dude did in North of the river Kansas City.
Old man shot Ralph Yarl through the front door then opened door as boy was fleeing and shot him again. All for going to the wrong house to pick up his siblings. That old man's life is a living hell right now, receiving all kinds of death threats and will be sued into oblivion in civil court. Along with jail time. |
|
Why would you call the cops? Are you really that paranoid?
GD's autism and basement dwelling is showing through in this thread. Tell the girls no and go about your life. |

Having spent many years observing people in in 911 EMS, I'd say their body language suggests the black girl legit has to pee really bad. The camera footage gives the impression that you have nice looking cars, a clean yard, and presumably a nice home. They may have simply come to what appeared to be a 'safe' looking house. That said, in this day and age, assuming their motives were legit going into strangers homes is a good way for young girls to end up on unsolved mysteries.

Just don't answer the door for people that you are not expecting. And tell your wife if she is going to answer the door, at least don't step outside and block the camera.
Not sure I would have called the cops but the videos looked suspicious to me. Not sure I buy the had to pee thing. |

Quoted: Medicine cabinet raiders, probably. View Quote Quoted: They wanted to go through your medicine cabinet View Quote Boom. Perhaps for their own use. Or, what's the street value on Xanax, etc? |

Quoted: What's strange is the pee-pee dance at the front door, but walking down the driveway in comfort and running in the yard without discomfort. View Quote You've never had to pee really bad, and then you stop moving and it gets worse? With the average age of GD, color me surprised. Just kids IMO. I wouldn't have let them in the house either, but didn't seem nefarious. |

To all those bashing for calling the cops...
Although I get where you're coming from, look at it from a different perspective. These girls could be putting their own safety at risk by knocking on random doors and ending up in a bad situation with some wacko. If the police were able to locate them at least they could school them on this and make sure their parents were made aware of what they were doing. The one girl in the background also had a cell phone. Why they didn't use it to call their parents to say come pick us up we can't walk home in time to use the bathroom. But instead they think it's a great idea to knock on a strangers door. |

I wouldn't have let them in, but the most they would've gotten out of my guest bathrooms would've been a couple rolls of TP and some feminine hygiene products. |

That situation could have went south a number of ways. "oh they tried to abduct my friend and now she has PTSD from it. we need money t help" "I fell inside and got hurt. I need money for medical bills" "they tried to make moves on one of my friends, they are predators!" any number of situations. I highly doubt the girl doing the pee dance really had to go bad enough to knock on a strangers door. When I have to go that bad im certainly not prancing across a yard to get something from the grass. |

I'd not have answered the door in the first place. I simply never answer the door. However you should have just let the one who needed to pee in.

Steal your stuff, case at your house see what you have inside, read your medicine cabinet in the bathroom, pick one

Did you post the video to the Ring Neighbors as a crime alert to see if anyone else saw them doing the same? Might answer the question about their being medicine cabinet raiders.

I'm single. No way I'm letting strangers into my home, but an underage kid would be even worse. They could ruin your life with one false unprovable claim.
|
|
Nope, stood there way too long ringing the doorbell of a stranger hoping to "pee"
Nothing casual or innocent about it. |
|
I wouldn't have opened the door. With a pistol hidden behind my back, through the closed front door I would have probably said something like "I have already called the police to assist you, they should be here soon"..I would NOT open the door, or otherwise engage them in conversation.

1. Very bad idea for young girls to be going around asking to go into a strangers house.
2. A very bad idea to let an under age girl into your house. OP did the right thing. |
