I had the same thoughts, but my brother absolutely insisted that I watch the show. I begrudgingly did so, and now it’s my favorite SW material ever and one of my favorite TV series of all time.

Since not much is happening with the shows right now, let’s talk about Benioff and Weiss getting the next trilogy. To me, it’s a typical move by Disney—hiring “in” directors and writers who don’t have any connection to the saga. Add to that the total collapse of GoT, and it’s possible that a disaster is in the making.

I was done with SW after TLJ. I got excited when it looked like SJW KK would be outed but thats not going to happen at Disney. I am a huge SW fan and will always love the older stuff but Disney ruined it for me.
Mandalorian looks passable no doubt they will screw it up somehow. |

In an article for the new Fallen Order video game, a member of TCW Season 7 production team stated that Disney has placed rules for depiction of violence in the series:
“One of the rules we were given was to always hide the cut in the case of decapitation. And to never show blood. The burn of a lightsaber is supposed to cauterize it instantly.” I honestly don’t think it’s a big deal, but I’m hoping they don’t go all Rebels on the show with ludicrously reduced violence that rendered the action scenes unbelievable. |
