The trailer coming out today is good timing as yesterday I set out to cast another Beskar ingot, this time in bronze. I’ve only worked with aluminum so this was new to me. Unfortunately it didn’t turn out as well as I had hoped but at least I learned something.
Yesterday morning I stopped by a metal supply store to get bronze shot. They only had 4.5 pounds left and it was definitely “bottom of the barrel” stuff. I hoped it would be enough but it wasn’t. The other problem I had was while my furnace got hot enough to melt the bronze, it needed to be hotter to pour it. Looks like I need a better burner or something. Oh well. @stimpsonjcat This is the way.
