Ain't that some shit. "Maybe" it's Surefire lining pockets for tax abatements, favors, and such. Californistan only has 7 Republican Reps, out of 53 districts, and 2 Dem senators. So any pocket lining would more than likely have to go into a Democommie's bank account. No excuse at all to hand $$$ to those cocksuckers, but sometimes you gotta pay to play. I love my Surefire lights, but I'm probably gonna start sending money to Streamlight from now on. View Quote Also wouldn't shock me if you are required to donate to local politicians to be a candidate for local LE contracts... That kind of BS goes back a long ways. |

Doesn't matter? Why in the world would a company like Surefire would want to give money to anti-gun politicians. Whether they're trying to grease the wheel or not, you shouldn't be giving money to anti-gun politicians View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Wow. It really is amazing how many gun stuff companies are donating to anti gun people. Makes you really wonder, doesn't it? I have one surefire product and I'll keep it, but I'm not going to buy anything else from them. Been spreading the word around about benchmade, will spread the word about surefire. I am my friend's gun/knife nerd and they do listen to me a lot when they ask what they should buy.....and they are educated about the perils of leftist agenda (and pissed about it). View Quote |

Works for me. Bring every single one of these companies that are run by traitorous fucks out into the light. I don't care if I'm stuck with one single manufacturer to shop with, I won't shop at places that give our money away to gun grabbers. Keep'em coming boys! Good job OP. Honestly, every person working for Surfire that I have met (and I have met a lot) is a complete douchebag.

If you all start following the money, you may have to boycott a lot of businesses. This donation is relatively small to a local politician for business purposes. This is how the political process works. A lot of people don't like money in politics but that's how the world works.

I've stated that supposedly supporting the 2nd Amendment but still working hard for those contracts with the very folks that want to take the 2nd Amendment away from us is a bad option. I'm curious where Magpul donates too. They pulled out of Colorado but still work hard to sell to places like the UK, Australia, and various locations in the US that are anti gun. Had mixed feelings about this, but on the whole, it's about damned time gun owners are a little more selective about doing proactive due diligence on the companies they support.
OP, good work. |

Sometimes being poor elsewhere has it's benefits. Could never afford anything but used Benchmades and never bought Surefires.

Well Leupold’s $1000 investment in Udall didn’t go very far considering he lost that year. It’s got to be the fact he served on the Armed Services Committee.

These payments and the way things ‘work’ certainly shed light on what’s really wrong in America.

Proven right again.......I'm glad some of you are finally catching up. I'll say it again STOP SPENDING ANYTHING ON THE GUN INDUSTRY. "Oh but muh schootn stuff" You aren't going to be shooting jack in the not to distant future if nothing changes our current course. Want to spend money on 'gun stuff'......? Start supporting pro-2A lawsuits! "Oh but we gots ta support gun makers" They have all been profiting off of gun owners for decades, and while there is nothing wrong with profit, its time they start supporting the gun owners. All of them...gun makers, ammo makers, parts makers, anything related to the firearm industry, stop spending and send your money to support lawsuits. Yes they will take a hit, but they have to join the fight. Hell gun owners have to join the fight......most aren't doing jack. View Quote |
