Opinion - Some Black people sure seem to whine and complain a lot..........Where are all the happy Black folks ? I know they are bound to exist ...............

honestly - no fucks given. For decades male swimmers would shave their chest, arms, and legs to be more hydrodynamic. Body suits have been banned since 2009.

Based on my experience in the USMC observing annual swim quals, are black swimmers really gonna be posed to take gold if they get a pointy hat?

It's amazing that swimming has been an Olympic sport for 120 years and 2021 is the year that race based equipment becomes a topic of debate.

As long as it doesn’t give an unfair advantage, let them swim with whatever cap they need to.

I know we're all worried about the race card being thrown around but honestly this decision makes no sense.
It's not as though a swim cap is going to give one Olympic athlete an advantage over another one. And if it DOES, hell they all should be wearing them. This is really a story about stupid bureaucracy saying "NO" just because they have been given the power to do so. |

Let them all swim buck ass nekked, no caps, no suits other then their birthday suit.
For both the men and women, make the water temps 40f and no warmer. |

Never forget the french banned recumbent bikes back in the 1920s, and then newer designs in the 1990s. Most international sporting bodies are retarded. |

The real truth is they probably don't have enough competitive swimmers that can fit these caps to test them sufficiently.

You are comparing apples and rocks. I’m not going to say oranges because then you would be comparing two fruits. Weed and swim caps are completely different and for different reasons. |

A French named committee, headquartered in Switzerland, with a Kuwaiti president. Wow. Everyone's gonna get loved tenderly by the "This is rayciss!" crowd.

View Quote The swimcap is an irrelevant controversy, as FINA said, because all swimmers conform their hair to be competitive. You wouldn't need this cap unless your hair is long for fashion purposes. That itself is a lifestyle choice, just like choosing to smoke weed. As far as I'm aware I've never seen a medical condition that would prevent you from cutting your hair especially in healthy people. This is a company using a rejection they never were going to get approved for (40,000 caps over years? Really?) to make PR splash to get their product out there. |

We should all imagine looking over a hedgerow in WW2 and having to call for permission to take the cover off your scope before you can call to get permission to pull a mag out of your gear before you you can call to load the weapon,,,all the while looking at an MG42 that has zero ROE. This, IMHO, is where our country is.

For women?
Let them have caps. Basically all women are the same. For men? Do what I did and every other swimmer did for championships/area/all american. Shave your head... Caps are distracting and I hated the way they sounded in the water when they trapped air between my ear or encapsulated my ear. |

so basically they did not a prove a product for use that no one ever asked to be used.
