I don't see UF getting anywhere near the end zone unless the Alabama bus crashes on the way to the game

It's football and anything can happen.

But I probably have a better chance of growing wings and learning to fly than Floridas QB does of finding the endzone.  Their offense is grossly inept.

Very small. The only chance of UF scoring will come from a pick 6 or Calloway returning a punt for a touchdown.

But once Treon touches the ball, all offensive progress will stop.

I'm hoping to see lots of handoffs, qb runs, and wildcats; for there to be any chance of the offense scoring. If there are more than 20 passing attempts, I don't expect for there to be any chance to win.

I want one of two things to happen this Saturday.

1) Bama gets beaten by FL, and the SEC gets left out of the playoffs.  Chaos will lead to playoff expansion.  Yay.  Bama loses. Yay.

2) Bama destroys FL worse than LSU during the Bama/LSU championship game.  Florida loses.  Yay.

Ohh, looks like florida may have just stole UGAs qb in addition to LSUs. Franks is early enrolling and supposedly Eason has told many of the UF players he will be official decommiting from the dawgs after his visit and playing with them next year. That at least seems to ring true, as a couple of players have tweeted him about upcoming practices. Heh, mccalister about sacking him in practice, then one of the oline dudes saying ur gonna have to get past me to get to Eason.

I'm hoping we did just flip him.

I'd be more surprised to see Eason at UF than at Miami.

Maybe so but Atlanta sports talk radio is talking about Eason visiting Mark Richt @ the U.
UF makes more sense the Miami since y'all don't have a decent starting QB and the Canes' do and I am sure a starting opportunity is a key factor for him.

Appy was FCS champs in 05,06, and in 07 (the year they beat Michigan). Their offense those years would put Florida's to shame.

Ya'll should hire Tim Beck.  He almost single-handedly got OSU to the Rose Bowl with play-calling against a good run defense.

Sources tell FootballScoop the Cavs’ search for London’s replacement
has focused only on head coaches, and we understand Air Force head coach
Troy Calhoun, Cal head coach Sonny Dykes and former Rutgers head coach
Greg Schiano are among those being considered. We have also heard some
speculation that former Cal head coach Jeff Tedford could be in the
discussion as well; although we have not confirmed this.

We also understand former Texas head coach Mack Brown has sought the
position but has not received an interview as of this time. We
understand that there has been considerable chatter around
Charlottesville that Notre Dame offensive coordinator Mike Sanford Jr.
is a candidate, however sources tell FootballScoop that he is not as of
this time.

How so?

Rich Rod was 3-7 his first year, they were 9-4 and won the Outback Bowl against Florida the year before.

Last year the Wolverines were 5-7 and didn't make a bowl game, Harbaugh is 9-3 and headed to a bowl game.

FSU & UF will obviously get most of the top level recruits, that's not what I was talking about.

There will be more competition now though as USF has put together a good program and Miami and UCF have attractive new coaches.

For the record, I think UGA made a huge mistake. I feel like they broke up with a really hot GF just because she put beans in her chili, and it took her about 2 days to find a new bf. You're not going to win the SEC every year with that level of competition.

Yay.

I'm in agreement with this.

So much negativity. It will eat you alive.

For the record, I think UGA made a huge mistake. I feel like they broke up with a really hot GF just because she put beans in her chili, and it took her about 2 days to find a new bf. You're not going to win the SEC every year with that level of competition.

Not really, it's more like the formerly hot GF got fat, lazy and preferred to spend time @ Sunday School rather than taking care of stuff at home.

CMR was fired for a multitude of sins.

Failure to win the SEC East in down years for UF, Tennessee and South Carolina
Failure to recruit and develop QB's
Lack of OL/DL depth because recruiting choices
Bad coaching hires (CBS and CTG)
Removing himself for playing calling and not stepping back into it this year given the QB/OC problems.
Poor special teams play for a few years.
Strange losses to weaker teams
Bad losses to good teams
Blow outs losses to Top 10 teams.
Strange coaching calls on special teams and bad game management that cost or nearly cost games.
Starting Bauta in the Florida games and NOT changing the play calling
Barely beating Georgia Southern and then celebrating like they won the SEC
He looked tired and acted frustrated these past couple of seasons.

And yet if he had one the SEC East just once in past 3 season, Georgia probably would have kept him on as HC.

Richt should be successful at Miami but things would not have improved for him in Athens.
He was tired and worn out.
It was a good fire.

I bet if he had recruited Deshaun Watson then we wouldn't have had QB problems the last two years and Richt would be comfortable at HC.

Even Richt might not have screwed up an SEC Champ run with Watson.

He's had some pretty good QBs/RBs/WRs come through and NOT manage to do it, though...so...never know
