I'm certainly pulling for Lawrence to win it, but I can't consider him the favorite. The voters always seem to like the video game numbers. Every QB that won it in recent memory puts up around 5000 total yards and 50 total touchdowns. Between him rarely playing in the second half and how good our running backs are I don't expect him to have numbers like that. |

Fortunately they have a week to assess what they didn’t do well and work on fixing it. Ags allowed 35 sacks last year and 89 tackles for loss. That was horrendous and ranked #106 and #110 in the nation. Yeah it was Texas St but they actually have 1 of the most experienced teams returning this year with 19 starters back so not allowing any sacks or tfls was pretty dam good IMO. |
