That’s a bunch. I always thought 80-85 was considered a very high snap count.

Many consider that the greatest football game ever played.

Then A&M and LSU in 2018 said “hold my beer and watch this”

7 OT's is pretty wild

How many games result in the NCAA making rule changes?

Its pretty rare... gotta stay within your TV TIME SLOT!!!!!

They say it was for player safety.
I’d be inclined to agree. Comments I read from some of the players saying it was damn exhausting.
Probably damn close to playing another couple of quarters if you compare it to the number of plays run. A&M ran 107 plays and LSU ran 90.

In OT or total?

Kliff Kingsbury offenses do 90 ppg all day long but they usually lose

Total plays for entire game.
As an example A&M averaged 73 plays per game that year in their other 12 games. That’s 34 addition plays which is roughly 1/2 again. Hence like playing another 2 quarters.

TTU under KK ran ~100 offensive snaps per game....

That’s a bunch. I always thought 80-85 was considered a very high snap count.

Kliff liked to lose but with lots of offensive plays so our defense would suck even worse.

Baylor has received almost no punishment for rape-gate...

so likely.

Oeaux might get the ride out of town treatment.....

I’ve heard LSUs athletic department has been running low on funds.  If that’s true things could get really ugly really fast.

This would be a fired for cause event

So no buyout, then?

Nope.

Louisiana law is based on Napoleonic Code, so there’s no telling.

OOC is only possible with in-state teams.   As an example, Clemson played The Citadel on 9/19.

Waco PD and the sheriff's office helped cover the rapes up too.

If the PD and Sheriff doesn’t do their jobs, to me that should be legally on them.

I just don’t like universities being involved in things that can be he said vs she said issues for students (not just athletics).

I dont see many people with money on the UCF/Cinci game this weekend.

It's the first time in the last 20 games UCF will open as an underdog - the last time was UCF +7 v LSU.

And a lot of universities are going toward preponderance of evidence rather than the presumption of innocence standard.

Titile IX is its own beast without any presumption of innocence (its not a legal proceeding - more like student code of conduct)

Same. He turned 5 win Michigan into 10 win Michigan, but being unable to win big games won't fly there.

Even the best turkey in the world is still just turkey. I’m good with the prime rib and/or brisket option.

I’m of the opinion that Turkey for thanksgiving “tradition” was invented by the turkey growers association to sell turkeys....nobody really wanted it, so they had to sell it as a tradition

Fried is the only acceptable turkey preparation method.

We have brisket, prime rib, and fried turkey for the meat options. Guess which one has leftovers?

My smoked Turkey has been deemed better than fried Turkey in side by side taste tests for 3 consecutive years at Thanksgiving gatherings of friends and family. And I think fried Turkey is damn good.
