Up 28-3 and then you give up 40 unanswered points w/o any turnovers in the game.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen that in a football game at any level before. Attached File |

Play calling in the second half was awful. Bo was Golden in the 2st half, so what should we do? Lets establish the run (23 rushes for 63 yards) . That was not successful and put Bo in a 3rd and long situation quite often. |

Quoted: BRILLIANT MOVE! They kicked the FG because in 30sec the HC gamed out the next 4w of football and realized that OU and Baylor could play the Big12 championship. Realistically if Baylor won the championship game that could put them in a tie breaker position where margin of victory of 10 or more points is part of the Big12 tie breaker rule. So he called a time out with 3sec remaining to add 3pt to this victory so if they end up tied with OU they own the tie breaker. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Miss State and Ole Miss both have that same style of offense. I worry about that same thing being a possibility later today during the Ole Miss game. I’m willing to bet that Elko doesn’t just sit back this game like the State game. If Carroll is hobbled some, he will get pressured a lot. I just hope run the ball a lot. Ole Miss has the #107 rush defense. Jimbo will play ball control all game to keep their offense off the field. They will be getting a heavy dose of Spiller and Achane. |

Quoted: Not at all confident in OU winning today. First time I've actually been nervous this year and not just enjoyed them playing. Probably the last as well. Not sure why. I've resigned that the fact they matchup poorly against Okie State and will likely lose. Now catching up to this thread from all week long. I think a somewhat hidden gem of a coach is Josh Heupel. He is consistently getting programs moving forward at this point. I doubt he would ever go to UTerus, but he would be an asset there. Edit: I am aware he has a legit beef with Coach Stoops. I can't really blame him, Bob set him up for failure at OU. View Quote I worked overnight and awoke to the result. Good call on your part. Woof |

Gary Danielson has been involved with football for half a century and he still doesn't understand that it's not grounding if there is an eligible receiver one yard away from where the ball lands regardless of if the QB is outside the tackle box or not.

Lincoln Riley is bitching about Baylor kicking the FG at the end because, according to him, it violates the “code of sportsmanship.”

Quoted: Lincoln Riley is bitching about Baylor kicking the FG at the end because, according to him, it violates the “code of sportsmanship.” View Quote Here ya go, from Riley/ "Well it became a safety issue. I mean, that's ... I care about the safety of my players, and I watched David Ugwoegbu just get bum-rushed by three guys. I'm pulling them off; he's pulling them off. I know why Dave tried to kick the field goal. I don't agree with it. I still think, above all else, there's a code of sportsmanship that I believe in. I wouldn't have done it. But that's his decision. That's his football team. "How the officials don't enforce a 15-yard penalty when you've probably got 5,000 people on the field is unbelievable to me. It is what it is. That's his decision. That was the official's decision. Don't agree with it, but part of it." Consider not bringing team back on field? I did tell them that. Maybe I should’ve done it. Again, I don’t believe that situation was handled well by a lot of people. But at the end of the day, doing it with class is important to me. At the end of the day, that’s why we decided to bring 11 guys out even though deep down, I damn sure didn’t want to. |
