How do you break a 3 way 1 loss tie? Score differential, or let a committee decide which blue blood they want?

Winning your conference should get ya in.  10-2 Baylor,  whomever won the PaC and ACC too

Lets run it up, 222-0

And its just 111 safeties

Got a pretty good haul this morning. The framed picture is from the inaugural game at Protective Stadium vs Liberty. I circled where we were sitting, not a bad seat.

The bourbon is pretty good, too.

lol I was ok with them playing and losing. Game experience for young players and 2 weeks extra practice. Not like losing was going to hurt recruiting or anything. I think people are smart enough to realize opt outs and a walk on 3rd string starting QB isn’t what a team will be next year.

Besides I still got the T-shirt

Numbers of cases dropped/dropping in the fall until Omicron showed up in early December.  Locally we went from around 100 cases per day and now we are around 1500/day.  I suspect in a setting with heavy testing, like the NCAA, you are seeing a ton more cases even if the ones testing positive are asymptomatic.

Who you trying to kid? We Aggies KNOW that was the best UNC team ever fielded. The opt outs caused addition by subtraction.

Even last year, I felt like our 2020 team was overrated. I think this year showed that to be true.

2020 ATM had a damn fine season and an awesome defense. They were (imHo) overrated based on who they played. That said, they had a great season and Aggie fans should be proud of that team and the season they had.

Texas has always recruited well, the improvement for being in the SEC isn't going to change much. Results on the field matter. If they can't compete in the Big X(II), they aren't going to find success in the SEC. Texas used to aspire for conference championships. In the future they will aspire to 8 or 9 win seasons, and they're a few years away of approaching that. Being in the SEC isn't going to fix anything that's wrong with that program.

The weird thing is that the money isn't that great a factor. Texas was already the richest program in the game. Again, moving to SEC isn't going to improve things all that much for Texas.

I really don't see what they gain for a couple extra losses every year. Except this was the only way they could get games with A&M again. Pathetic losers miss the Aggies so much they followed them like sad little puppy dogs.

Oklahoma and Texas didn’t move there for money alone. The powers to be at Texas wouldn’t join the SEC just to be a whipping boy for a few dollars. They joined because they wanted to be a part of the best conference in college football and because they also believe they can compete. The money is just a byproduct.

Snow is only up on mountain, I'm just at 7500ft it got some rain this weekend though which doesn't suck.

If Tech pulls offs an upset (9.5-10pt underdogs) then I can watch it later when I am not off grid

Hoping this is a good game. We’ve got quite a few opt outs at key positions as well so who knows what we’re going to get.
