Bama is beating themselves right now with the penalties.
Very untypical Bama. No matter the outcome of this game they'll be laser focused going forward. Saban actually likes games like this. It reinforces his teachings to the players that you have to play mistake free football. |

This is going to be a record for penalties committed by a Saban coached team.

This is why you want to play Bama early in the season.
The young guys are still learning. |

Quoted: I can't believe I'm going to defend texas, but you are out of your mind. texas has earned everything they have gotten today. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Ababama gave Texas a double digit lead on a silver platter and yet they only lead by 3. With the sloppy way Bama is playing this should NOT be a 3 point game at this point. Just look at Texas' last possession before halftime. Texas had it 1st and goal from the 2 with 8 seconds left and 2 timeouts. They got one throw out of it and then missed a 20 yard FG. |

Through 3 quarters I have NEVER seen a Saban-led Alabama team look THIS sloppy.

bama deserves to lose this game and the defensive backs are the reason. Penalty after penalty.

Regardless of what’s happening we all know it’s UGAs world and everyone e else is just living in it.

Alabama is frustrated and has no discipline. Dirty play is costing them for once

Bama deserves to loose this game. Sloppy as dog shit, blocking like dog shit, fouling like dog shit, receivers are dog shit, o line is dog shit.

Heading into the 4th quarter it would appear Texas has Alabama on the ropes...
And yet Vegas still has Alabama favored to win. |

15 min to go. Bama could easily run away with this still.
HOW did they miss that face mask? |
|
Any bets on how low in the polls they drop bama for this shit show? 3rd, 5th, 21st?
Where will tu end up? We all know espn and ap sicks longhorn dick, so top 10? |

Ohio State over Arkansas State 45-12 with 0:04 left in the 3rd Quarter.

In 3 of their last 5 drives Texas has gotten the ball in Bama's red zone with 2 of them being instead the 10.
They scored a grand total of 6 points. |

View Quote It's entirely possible this Alabama team just isn't as good as everyone thinks. They have holes on offense, not a lot of depth at WR, and even the defensive leader in Anderson playing terrible. Yes, this is only the second game of the season. But unless Texas has completely transformed since last year, it's not looking good. The Heisman QB from last year is currently 12/20 for 77 yards, and 6 total first downs through 3+ quarters. The other Heisman candidate in Anderson has at least 5 flags, with one personal foul. They don't have anyone else to carry the team, and the receiving corp they were so dependent on last year is gone. If you look at Alabama going back to even last November, the signs have been there. They've played seven legitimate teams in that time, and have looked Alabama-esque in only one of those games...the SEC Championship against Georgia. Otherwise, 6pt win over LSU...7pt win over Arkansas....2pt (4OT) win over Auburn...21pts over Cincinatti, who shouldn't have even been in the playoff. Otherwise, the loss to Georgia in the title game, and the struggle against Texas today. Alabama can still win this game, and likely will....but I think there is a lot more than just a few "new players" waking up. |

That's no excuse to have it first and goal from the 2 and not get any points out of it. |
