Shocking moment Texas 7-Eleven workers are repeatedly punched and pelted with snacks after they refused to sell a cigar to an underage girl Now being slammed as a 'senseless act of violence', the Saturday attack happened at one of the chain's stores in Mesquite - a suburb of Dallas The violence started around 9pm - after one of the clerks seen in the footage refused to sell the tobacco product to a member of the party under the age of 21 The rejection led the unidentified suspect to return with other juveniles. After a brief word exchange, the attack ensued - and its entirety was caught on camera  |

It's an interesting culture. I remember going to 7-11 for Icees when we were kids. Never occurred to me to beat up the clerk when the Icee machine was out of order.

How many people actually grab a fresh banana at the impulse checkout area?
Seems like they decay quickly to stock - Probably a feel good - eat healthy campaign- How many patrons like this actually eat bananas? Seems wasteful - Unlike the US mail Bananas can be shipped globally for pennies a pound and lose a fair amount of inventory. |

As somebody who has lived in this lovely town for 13 years, this is not shocking. The location of the incident, is definitely not the first 7-Eleven I would have thought of where this would have occurred. I'm not going to say this is the great side of town, because there are none. That being said, the area town this occurred in is a lot better than most.
