Stopped at Arby's last week. Gyros were 2 for $7 on the menuboard, and I confirmed it when I ordered.
Two Gyros, two small shakes (the smallest shake on the menuboard was 1.xx, but apparently that was smaller than a small, and the smalls were over $3) and one small fry. Was over $17 with tax. Yes, $10 for two small shakes and a small curly fry. |

Quoted: So my kid wanted Taco Bell for dinner after football practice. Wife was out running errands with the other 2 kids, so we were left to our own devices. His brother has some severe food allergies, so stops like this are pretty rare & kind of a treat for him. Just wanted to clear that up before I got 50 replies about feeding my kid shit food. Anyways…we ordered 6 tacos, 2 medium drinks & a side of nacho fries. The order total was $28.50! Spending nearly $30 to feed two people at TACO BELL is insane. View Quote Yep the wife and I went a while back for the first time in a long while. It was right at 30. Its crazy how expensive shitty food has gotten |

Quoted: Quoted: Not sure how you managed that, OP. I just put the items you listed into tacobell.com for pickup at my nearest store, and it was $17.59 after tax. Same here.
The level of detailed analysis on this Taco Bell bill is fairly impressive…like approaching 4chan status. I’ve edited the order above to satisfy our forensic accountants. I’ve been a supreme guy for a while now, it’s my go to. Please see additional documentation below, lol. Attached File |

Ah, now I see the issue. The prices there in FL appear to be significantly higher than for most other TB locations. I'm not sure why that is, but....there it is.

We have a non-chain Mexico restaurant here that has prices trapped in time, especially for lunch. Lots $6.99 and $8.99 options, lightning fast. It's pretty good.

We stopped in at Jersey Mikes Saturday
A small sandwich, a medium one, two bags of ships and drinks $28.00 My sandwich had 4 slices of meat |

I member back in high school in the mid 90's almost daily for lunch we'd go to TB and I could get full for less than $2.
I'd get a soft taco, burrito and a tostata. Think it came to $1.77 if I remember correctly. I went to taco bell for the first time in years around 3 months ago and I got a hard taco Supreme, soft taco Supreme and regular burrito and it was over $7. Seems like these fast food places are dead set trying to get around $7-$10 out of you these days. |

the '80s were awesome of course i probably havent been there since the '80s |

My Costco membership pays for itself many times over just for hot dogs and pizza. I probably eat there 4 times a month.

I spent almost $60 tonight just on some stuff to cook dinner at home lol.

yep! I went last week and spent 30 bucks on a couple of meals and drinks and that was my last time going... they jacked there prices up waaaaay to much to reflect any difference in inflation.
|

Yep. For what Taco Hell costs, you can probably find a modest sit-down restaurant for around the same money, maybe even with the tip. Chik-fil-a ain't cheap either, but I at least feel I got something decent for the money.

Taco Hell can be cheap if you order the right stuff, but anything that actually tastes halfway decent is stupid expensive for the dog food you get

The button pushers demand $20 an hour to slowly push the buttons while being rude and dismissive to you before handing you frankenfood that closely resembles the diarrhea it will become in 2 hours. Soon the "workers" will be replaced by electronic panels, but the price and the food quality will remain unchanged

Just went to taco bell for lunch and got their nacho fries box. Came with a beefy 5 layer burrito, a crunchy taco, taco fries, some cheese dip and a medium drink for 5.50 plus tax. OP did it wrong.

You can eat a burrito from Taco Bell and then squirt shit and wipe with a tortilla. You basically have just recycled the same burrito.
