Yea I know, my question kind of reminds you of that joke " What were Custer's Last Words?".......answer; Where the hell did all these indians come from?
Seriously....... I'm an old guy and so have patience with me. Where the hell do all these memes come from? And how are you posting them onto threads in an instant? I've also observed that some of the memes are frozen frames taken from out of a video, and you have added comments to. I've googled this to find that there are meme websights that offer pre-made memes ready to be posted. But those canned memes often look lame and more suited to a 15 year old. I wouldn't waste my time sorting through pages of that lame crap trying to find the right premade mame for my topic. It seems to me some of best and most amusing memes are being custom made by some of you guys......am I correct about that? |

When a funny picture and an appropriate piece of text love each other....

Picture message boards.
Think like here, except you post an image to get things going, good one's get the creators lots of adulations & get spread far and wide. Pretty straightforward really, it's basic human want's needs desires, simply in a slightly different medium than you're used to. |

I have an app called Mematic. It takes seconds to turn a picture into a dank meme.

A daddy artist and a mommy writer kiss each other and the meme gets planted in the forehead and then grows in the tummy and then comes out of mommy’s fingertips into the keyboard and mouse.

From the meme story, and the more rare they are the more they're worth.
I've seen some ultra rare ones before. |

Lots of meme generator webtools out there. If you don't want to roll your own, do an image search; lots of them are posted on boards like reddit, 4chan, 9gag, etc. If you keep a bunch of your favorites handy it's easy to upload one to an arfcom thread.

Some I create. For the vast majority, I'm just very good at Googling.
I get an idea and if I can't quickly find exactly (or close enough) to what I want, it only takes a minute or two to bang a new one out. |

View Quote If you have a photo, you can go to a meme generator site and make them. Or, use a photo editor. If you have a video editing program, you can take stills or make gifs from them. Mostly, you gotta be willing to do a little detail work and plan ahead. A lot of times, a topic starts here, but it's been on some other site for hours already, and someone just grabs a meme from there to re-post. So it just looks fast. |
