A 2024 Corvette (dream car)
2024 Honda accord (daily driver) That's it. I can't think of any other cars I'd want or need. Unless we're talking some goofy hypotheticals, like if I became a 18-wheeler driver and also bought a semi-truck cab for work use. |

Forget the toys, I'll take a certified bank check for $1M and go from there.

I'd have to pick up an H1 Hummer. It's always been a dream of mine since childhood. I'd probably grab a Landcruiser as well. For car, I'm not a big car guy but maybe an older Nissan Skyline of some sort. My wife would probably love the landcruiser so we would just share that.
These vehicles would be on top of the truck and car we already have. |

Alumi X Excursion Conversion by CABT ~ 250k

Navigator for my bad weather daily, family hauler, and tow rig.
Attached File A handful of R32 Skylines. One for daily driving, one built street legal beast for fun and car shows, one as my drift rig, and a couple spares for tinkering. Attached File And of course I'll want a proper car lift and all the new tools a mechanic could desire. |

I like the cars from when I was growing up.
I’d have a 2” lifted 02-03 2500HD Silverado with an absolute beast of an LB7 and a built Allison. Itd look completely stock outside of exhaust. Then have a switch on the inside that lets loose 1k ft lbs of American diesel power. I feel like the LB7 and Cummins are the most nostalgic sounding diesels to me. Although I’ve always had a place in my heart for a Detroit diesel, the knock of the LB7 just sounds right. Then I’d have a 73-75 F250 with a 460. Not lifted. A true to the core grandpa car. My grandpas were shitty, but a buddy had a good one that I looked up to. He had a clean 73 and I’ve always wanted one. Then I’d have a 67 Mustang with a true 351. Call me crazy but a built 351 is the best sounding gas engine ever produced in my book. I don’t know why. I have a built 390 that sounds good right now, but my old 351 just sounded like America. No A/C, no fancy do dads, lowered with amazing suspension and ready for mountain roads. I’d do all of it myself. The LB7 would be the most fun to me. That family of diesel was the perfect blend of modern electrical and mechanical. Mine right now is on its third set of injectors and closing in on 500k. When the injectors goes out it’ll be time for a full frame off restore :) |

'90 300zx TT Coupe, with some extensive work done, mostly in weight and modernization. Could use a 6 speed.
Rebuild my '02 C32 AMG. Family car, Chevy Astro. Worked for my family for near 15 years. |

GT3 RS, a spec E46, pay someone to finish fixing up and stage rally build on current E46 since I haven't had time. Truck and trailer to pull the race cars. Wife can keep her minivan.
That's probably only like half a million dollars. So maybe a second GT3 RS and a couple new M sedans. |
|
1. A beautifully restored 1965-67 GTO hardtop. 4 speed transmission, and engine putting out around 550-750 horsepower.
2. 1966-1970 Mopar B Body car built into a rat rod..550-750 horsepower again, the kind of car that when people see it on the freeway, they think "Oh shit stay away from that, he probably doesn't have insurance...hell he probably doesn't have a driver's license either". 3. Dodge Viper sent off to someone like Rousch to hot rod it up. |

I’m surprised so many want the GT3 RS over the GT3. You can’t get a man pedal in a RS

Porsche of some kind is the clear winner so far.
I thought it would be a Corvette. I think it is cool that Cadillac ranks pretty well and the the surprise is how high Tesla is ranking. The other surprise, and I get it, is how many people like the square body Chevys. |
|
A '71 Road Runner. Probably a '69 Z28. Would love a '73 Cuda also.
Then a new Silverado truck. |

Quoted: You have 1 million dollars to fill a garage of any size. (if it needs to be a 50 car garage....go for it....) The only rules are...you are happily married and you have a kid or two. So, some choices need to take that into account. (your wife needs a car or more...and you need some kind of "room for the kid or two" ride). There is no need to get philosiphical or virtue signal. You have given to all the causes and have saved all the money. If you would "never, no matter what...." spend "that kind of money" on "such and such thing..." Ok...this thread is not for you. This is a car guy thread. You have $1,000,000 to fill your garage. (hell, you have two vacation homes and like to keep a spare car where you hangar your plane....whatever, the budget is 1 million bucks). It isnt for life. This is just your lifestyle. In 5 years, some of the cars will change. You dont have to keep these cars forever. I'd try and get all the JDM goodness that I can't afford. R32 GTR, tricked out FD, Civic Type R. I'd have a couple of SUVs for me and the wife and I really want a Tesla so probably a model 3 performance and a model X. Other than that something exotic like a Ferrari would be cool.
I could see myself spending a lot just on the garage itself thou. |
|
Ah shit, that's going to be difficult.
Start with a New Z06. That'd make me happy, as my "supercar" Then a CX-90 for the wife, unless she decided she wanted something different. New 3/4 ton Diesel Truck, for truck things. Probably keep my current daily driver as my beater. A 928S4, because I always wanted one of those. It'd be original and meticulously restored and maintained. A M35, rebuilt for reliability and upgraded some to make it a tad less brutal to drive, because I always wanted one of those. Some sort of old cruiser. I'd be partial to a 71-72 Chevelle of some sort. In cherry restored condition. That'd take care of a good chunk of it. I'll add more later. |

My 68 stepside has undergone a damn near complete overhauling this past year.. Really the only thing it needs now is a paint job.. I would then toss in a..

If I only had $1 million, I sure wouldn't be pissing it away on cars.

I'd have 2dr and 4dr (gasoline) Rubicons in there for trails and rock crawling. A capable tow vehicle. A high end SXS. A fully loaded Honda Odyssey to haul the kids all over. A brand new fully loaded 2 seat convertible for the wife, whatever is really cool looking. I like the recent Miatas. A class 3 RV with lots of room inside. Oh and a 4dr hybrid Rubicon for my daily driver. That should be close to eating up a million.
