We have two teasers so far:
  Based on the Taco, we know this will be on the new TNGA platform, and it'll have the 2.4L turbo, most likely with a hybrid option. How will this split the market with the new Land Cruiser we're getting? Good question. I have been waiting for this literally for 10 years! Bought my 2015 Limited back then after realizing Toyota was nowhere new close to a redesign.
My 2015 is still in excellent shape so I don't need a replacement but I will look closely at the new model for a potential future purchase. Although now I am old enough I will be looking at the new Lexus GX too.  And agreed, way to go Toyota on keeping a roll down window! |

The question is the designation, which I'm unable to answer. Nor confirm production facility. But that will be known soon enough. There won't be any 2TR or 1GD like the Prado and LC 250 tho. Manual? Ayada has it right. |

I was thinking about upgrading my 2016 V6 Accord to the next gen 4Runner, but I think I'll pass. A 2.4L turbo? Nah. |
