I don't use my computer in the dark, so I see no sense in buying a light for my monitor.

Quoted: Lightbar Benefits View Quote I read this far; "2. Lightings up your desk Lights are important in workplaces since you can utilize them to illuminate a tour desk." I don't think that I need to "Lightings" my desk, and I don't have a "tour desk" anyway. |

I can't believe you sit at your desk all day browsing arfcom. La-Z-Boy and chromebook is where it's at. The Adventures of Buckaroo Bonzai is on.

I can’t stand having the light on in the room when I’m working on my computer at night - especially if I’m gaming.
Why would I want to spend all that money on a monitor only to wash out all the colors and contrast with a light that’s directly attached to it? Why would I spend all that money on a color calibration tool for my expensive monitor, only to throw light of arbitrary temperature at it? |
|
Neat! I was just complaining my monitor colors look too saturated. This should help them look more washed out.

The very design addresses most of what you’re talking about. |

Or just turn on the blue light filter built into pretty much every OS these days and you get the same nice soft ambiance and reduced eye strain.

Or, maybe just go with the regular D65 bias lighting that photo/video editors go with?

Turn on the overhead light, if they didn't put one in the room get a lamp preferably one that is more useful then lighting up your keyboard.
