One of my favorites as a kid, and still today.

The Goonies and The Last Starfighter are two movies I watch at least twice a year.

"But the worst thing I ever done - I mixed a pot of fake puke at home and then I went to this movie theater, hid the puke in my jacket, climbed up to the balcony and then, t-t-then, I made a noise like this: hua-hua-hua-huaaaaaaa - and then I dumped it over the side, all over the people in the audience. And then, this was horrible, all the people started getting sick and throwing up all over each other. I never felt so bad in my entire life."

I went on a field trip in grade school to see that movie at a historical theater before it was torn down.

I remember the WWF and that whats her face singer tried to use the movie as a tie in with "Rock and Wrestle". I guess she did some of the music in the movie? Never paid attention to the music.

WWF was trying too hard then. Should have stuck to the fake wrestling schtick.

One of the greatest movies ever. 80s movies were the best. I was 10 when it came out, big part of my childhood.

It's neat for the local connection, but otherwise to me it's just 90 minutes of children screaming.

It's funny, but since I was a kid until recently, I thought The Goonies took place in Maine

Great movie.  The wife and I are full on Goonies. Saw it in the theater when I was a kid.  The wife and I did a road trip up to Astoria and hit all the spots they filmed the movie.  Interestingly the house was up for sale at the time, it was actually very cheap at the time in the late 90s. We had a lot of fun.

Goonies Never Die.

I got my wife this cool blue-ray box set last year with a bunch of cool stuff inside. The map, special book, other cool stuff inside. All the cut scenes in the blue ray. It's a cool set.

Great movie that came out when I was 9. (Same director as Lethal Weapon.) We took the kids to see it at the drive-in last summer.

I've been watching 80s movies every weekend with my 12 year old daughter since Christmas when we watched Die Hard. Its actually been great bonding time. So far we've watched Red Dawn, Stand by Me, First Blood, Terminator, etc. It has made me very nostalgic and appreciative of how I got to grow up in the 80s. Also makes me hate Commies that much more.
