Well, this was a crappy day. Wife's great uncle passed away this morning. He was 97 and had lived at home alone up until about a year ago, still tending his own garden and taking care of his buddy Speedy the chihuahua. He was sharp as a tack mentally right up to the end, but his body was just done. A few days ago he just stopped eating and drinking, I think he had just had enough and was just ready to join his wife who passed on years earlier.
He was a WWII combat vet, he raised my Mother in Law after she was orphaned, and was just an all around good man. The world would be a better place if there were more people like Deryl. |

Progress was made. Got The framing done and all the wallboard up over the weekend. Today did first coat on the waterproofing, tomorrow I’ll do the seams and then we’re ready for tile.
