More ‘Senate Rules’... they won’t be able to have the final Senate confirmation vote until sometime this weekend. If successful, he will take his seat on the SC Monday morning when the court goes into session. Hence the screeching for FBI investigation... delay a day or so and he misses the beginning of the session. Then it’s ‘there’s no rush know - we can do a more thorough investigation’. Before you know it, ‘we need to wait until the new Senate is seated.

This is ridiculous. At this point even my most liberal of friends admit that this is a circus with the sole aim of preventing a conservative nominee from gaining the seat. Her testimony is a farce, she's a known anti-Trump critic, and she chose to partake in the ultimate form of destructive activism by becoming a political martyr.

The FBI thing is a clever talking point and not a legitimate question. Every senator up there knows (or should know)that the FBI does not- and can not - investigate a sexual assault that happened yesterday, let alone 40 years ago. They don't have the legal authority to do that, even if they wanted to. The masses don't understand that, though, so they keep asking for something that's not possible because no matter what his answer is, they win.

Watching BK give his opening speech was surreal. I saw a man speaking with raw emotion and a man who was in disbelief that he was in such a situation. You could see the anger, sadness and frustration he was feeling from having to defend himself from all of this. It was sad and inspiring at the same time.

I grew up in NH and MA was in high school in MA from 82-86.

It was not a very common expression but when it was used “boofed” meant fart.

You might be confusing it with “boffed”.
