Not rye
no kraut

yellow hotdog mustard

quantity of beef is acceptable.

It's a hot corned beef sandwich, not a corned beef and swiss. And yes, that is rye bread, probably better than any you've ever had!

Fail.

Corned Beef is to be served on rye. That looks like Wonder Bread.

On white bread? that's just sad.

Never seen rye that light.. and I bake my own all the time.

Bread should be toasted, and mustard should be brown.
That said?
Yeah, I'd still eat the hell outta that.

The meat needs to be evenly spread on the bread, not in the center.

Again, that is a completely different sandwich. We're talking hot corned beef sandwiches here. Continue to shit in my thread with off-topic sandwich comparisons, and I will report your ass.

Not to take away from a corned beef sandwich on it's own, a Reuben is never made with pastrami.

Um, no.

Corned beef goes best on Detroit style rye a la Stage Deli.

I'd eat that up. But I'd rather have a darker rye and a sammich maker who didn't pile all the meat in a tall round ball right in the middle of the bread which forces me to remake it at the table. I haven't had corned beef in quite a while. Next stop, Blimpies.

That's my last Slymans. Never miss Zingermans in Ann Arbor. Mannys in Chit-town or Shapiros when I'm in Indy. If you get outta the Midwest there's others.

Damn I want one now

The white balance is way off on the camera and I can't seem to get it corrected properly in Photoshop - it was just some cheap coleslaw from the store anyway.

Wrong.

The Hot Corned Beef Sandwich is on Rye with deli mustard, Swiss cheese and kraut

Edit: and a deli pickle on the side.
