I think under current conditions we would win. A Sino-US war would almost certainly be a world war. China has very little friends and we would gather many allies. NOBODY likes China. The Africans are even getting tired of their shit. We still have a decent base of combat experienced personnel. So do many of our allies. Our strategic capabilities dwarf theirs.
They know this, and are playing the long game. The VERY long game. |
