When Frodo and Sam have completed their daunting and impossible mission of destroying the One Ring, are totally spent and have resigned themselves to a fiery death that will be coming soon. When you can make out eagle's wings coming in from the grey of the clouds....got me both times I've watched it.
Heroes rescuing their brothers. I think of how many American warriors have been in that spot, but we're choppered out under fire. Jackson did good in that scene. |

When Kurt Russel is dying in the ambulance in "Backdraft" and talking to his little brother got to me.
Also, the scene where Jennifer Aniston is talking to God in "Bruce Almighty" in her room about wanting to forget about Bruce because it hurt too much really hit me. |

The last episode of The Sarah Connor Chronicles, when John discovers that Cameron (her chip) is gone.

The end of Arrival got me pretty good, too. It was unexpected.

When Indiana Jones shot that sword swinging A-rab.
I break into tears every time I think of that poor minority being gunned down so cruelly. It's just so sad. |

Along with "have a catch" from Field of Dreams.
Magnum PI Season 4 Episode 1 Home from the Sea "To most Americans, this Fourth of July is a day of picnics and fireworks, of ball games and potato sack races, of political speeches and parades. But to us, the friends and family of Lieutenant Thomas Magnum Senior, this Fourth of July 1951 will always be remembered as the day he came home from the sea. God Bless and keep his wife and son." Every damn time. |

Quoted: Logan: "Ah...so this is what it's like" View Quote That scene got me, but what opened the floodgates was when his "daughter" turned the cross to an X. I soooooo wanted Scott Summers(Cyclops) to show up before Logan dies to tell him where they were going was real. The other one that got me was when Logan killed Dark Phoenix(Jean Grey). Logan loved Jean, and it was an ongoing rivalry between Logan and Scott. |

Quoted: Big Fish brought tears to my eyes as well. View Quote A story about a strained relationship between a father and a son, it isn’t until the end that the son sees a life of his father he never knew. At that point he knows his fathers time has passed and he realizes he made him the good man he is today. Ugh it’s tearing me up thinking about that. Saw it in the theater as a 24 yr old punk kid with a son that had no idea what I was doing in life or as a father. Sometimes art is very moving. |
