Rep. Ayanna Pressley Applauds Will Smith for Slapping Chris Rock Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., applauded Will Smith for slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars in a tweet that she has now deleted. Will accosted Rock for a joke Rock made about the actor's wife Jada. Rock joked about Jada's bald head. Jada has previously been open about having alopecia.. Taking to Twitter shortly after the controversial incident, Pressley, who also lives with alopecia, stood up for Smith and spoke out about the condition. "#Alopecia nation stand up! Thank you #WillSmith Shout out to all the husbands who defend their wives living with alopecia in the face of daily ignorance & insults," the lawmaker tweeted, according to The Hill. Jada has previously spoken out about having alopecia. She first opened up about the condition in 2018 on her "Red Table Talk" series. "A lot of people have been asking why I've been wearing turbans. Well, I haven't talked about it. It's not easy to talk about, but I am going to talk about it," she shared, according to People. She explained that it was "terrifying" to deal with when it first started. "I was in the shower one day and had just handfuls of hair in my hands and I was just like, 'Oh my God, am I going bald?'" she added. "It was one of those times in my life where I was literally shaking in fear. That's why I cut my hair, and why I continue to cut it." "In the fall, when I was getting my hair retwisted, is the first time that I was made aware that I had some patches," she said during an interview with The Root. "From there, it accelerated very quickly." "I'm very early in my alopecia journey. But I'm making progress every day. And that's why I'm doing this today," she said. "It's about self agency. It's about power. It's about acceptance. "It's so interesting to me that right now on this journey, what I feel the most unlike myself is when I am wearing a wig. So I think that means I'm on my way." (She's the one on the right) _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ She's such a brave, strong woman. Never missing an opportunity to get her name out in front of the stupids that voted for her. OTOH I've been bald for some time and I'm not bitching about it. Although I am glad LaRue gives you a hat when you buy stuff. |

I thought the bald head thing was huge in wakanda? What's the problem?

Assaulting someone is cool as long as you have a victim card of some sort.

Meh.
Most women, no matter their politics, are getting their panties wet thinking about Will Smith (or any man) slapping someone in their defense. |

My wife has alopecia.
She’s very self conscious about it because people think she has cancer. Last summer at the gym I convinced her to be comfortable and just wear a doo-rag. Some random lady walked by and said enthusiastically, “Keep up the good fight!!” So she then put the wig back on. |

The media focus HAS to be on Will Smith defending his wife's illness. Otherwise it would be on the pro pedo hosts.
If it weren't' for this red herring, they would have to talk about Schumer, Sykes, etc. loudly promoting their obscene opposition to the Florida anti-pedophilia bill which prevents the sexualization of kindergarten to third graders. The Oscars were very pro-pedophile, anti-wife. Got to hide the more objectionable part of that equation. |

Ya know, I first posited that "it" was Steve Harvey in drag. But it could also be a scene from the next Matrix movie where Morpheus is a tranny.

Everyone looks happy here. Attached File

So wait.
She's just going bald? Not cancer or a comprised immune system? How many bald insults did Will Smith toss at uncle Phil on Fresh Prince? I don't recall Don Rickles hauling off at anyone when he got roasted. J Smith knew if she didn't want the attention, all she had to do was wear a wig. I've gone from not caring to firmly believing the entire Smith family earned every increasing drop of misery entering their lives. |

Some people have mocked bald dudes for ages now. No one gives a shit. Gotta love double standards.

"I support white knighting for bald headed bitches nation wide" she was quoted as saying

She looks like she could be candidate for next GI Jane movie.

So the proper response when a woman insults a guy for being bald is....?
|

As a bald American I also support Will Smith’s actions.
Chris Rock and all the other anti-baldites out there - You have been warned!!! |

Everyone has it wrong here.
Let's count the victims. 1. Chris Rock. Made a very mild "joke" about Smith's wife. Gets gobsmacked. Also, gets 'cancelled' by Smith. 2x victimization. 2. Will Smith. Gets all pantywadded by Rock's stupid mild joke. So enraged that he MUST hit someone. Hits Rock. Becomes so proud of himself, he grins all the way home. Oh, and he injured his hand. 4x victimization. 3. Jada Pinkett-Smith. Has a dreadful condition which causes her acute embarrassment. Despite repeatedly making a social statement of it, gets all teary-eyed when Rock mentions it. 2x victimization. 4. The audience. Half of them are so shocked by Smith's violence, they will never get over it. The other half are laughing so hard their abs are cramping. 1000x victimization. 5. The woke community. They are now trying to make up some term which makes BOTH Smith and Rock into victims. Something like Co-African Victim Syndrome. |

Yesterday's "apology" - Violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive

I guess being compared to a female SEAL (I know it’s a movie and not real) is a bad thing?
